The custom mechanical keyboard universe has called me
« on: Tue, 07 September 2021, 14:14:57 »
Hi everyone,

My name is Braydon, a web developer and new to the custom mechanical keyboard scene.
I'm in the process of absorbing all information I can about mechanical keyboards and plan on doing my first build soon.

As a very visual person, I find myself super picky on which keycaps I'll purchase - I want something unique, but not super bright and distracting.

Any ideas?

Looking forward to joining this fantastic community!

If you like OEM profile, Tai-Hao are great starter keycaps.

Tai Hao OEM is pretty basic. If you're going with Tai Hao, Cubic profile is much more interesting and unique. You can find examples at MechanicalKeyboards.com

Personally, I think OP should look into DSS profile, as it is very new (retronew) and not commonly-available. Or DCS, like the Solarized Dark set in GB. No-one will have that.
