I recently bought one second hand, but it seems to be an older generation where the buttons are a darker color than the body. The new ones seem to be the opposite, with the buttons being a lighter color than the body. Are there any differences between these two generations?

New on the left, old on the right.

They are two different products

Marble Mouse v.s. Trackman Marble.

Just google with the correct name to find a rewiew of one of the two.

There is an even older generation, in beige, that doesn't have buttons 3 and 4.
