Bro Caps Therapy

Yeah as much as I sigh about the backdoor trading of Bros, some of which we never even got the chance for, there isn't really anything we can do about it since it's all via PM and underground.

Unfortunately it also pretty much means that I'll never get any of my dream caps because there aren't that many light blue/blue sparkle ones, and they're all the kind that are inaccessible unless you have a sick collection already or absurd amounts of money. I don't expect to ever be able to put any V2 on a board. My one I have is Topre, and I'm not getting any Topre boards. I don't expect to ever get a v1 Reaper. My luck with raffles is nil. *sigh* I'm still aching for this sale and everything in it, but... I just don't expect anything to happen. :/ It'd take a miracle and I'm not due for any of those. My 'miracle' was that my tire blowing out Saturday didn't cause an accident and just wiped out all my spare funds.

Agh. Too much stress.

Bro Caps is one of the best custom novelty cap producers out there, and I will give you some tips when it comes to getting what you are after.
Don't complain about never getting a or b. Try to be positive instead and just keep it visible what you are interested in. Have some info in your signature about which cap(s) that are your favorites and how much you want them.
If you have something to offer up in a trade, let it be known.
Talk to people wherever you can (join the IRC channel if you're really social), and get to know people on a personal level.

In the end you'll more than likely be able to get the caps that you are looking for without having to deal with PM purchases and over priced brocaps in the classifieds.
It will usually take time, but I promise you that if you really want something, the time will be well worth it.

There is only one person I know off who has spent lots on brocaps and it's pretty obvious who, though given the size of there collection I doubt they spent anything like as much as CC's go for on any single one...

That reaction makes me think that there might be a lot more high price bro traffic then at least I thought there was... Also a fn went up for $100 the other day its sad but unfortunately that's the way it is. Thank god ive met some decent people and haven't had to deal with much of this but it not just that I refuse to spend that much money. Maybe if I made more money but its completely unrealistic for me to spend that type of money!!!!!!

I don't know for sure, but I would assume something like that would be more difficult on a tranny BB.

My non-empirical assumption is that the solid color plastic is softer.

Yeah, this is the only person I've heard of doing it (successfully). Better off just getting a Topre slider and a Topre Bro IMO, easier and no risk involved.
