They already look insanely good. If they're UV reactive too (which I'd guess they likely are) then it just reaffirms that the Nightcaps team is in fact made up of 2 magicians and a bull.

Tapatalk and Discord notifications let me down again. I'm suspecting the upgrade to Android Pie has boned me. Used to get all updates lickity split, but now I get nothing. App settings are fine, checking notifications in Android settings are fine.

The performance has most definitely degraded in recent weeks. I think the assumption was that they migrated servers and it has not been an improvement.

Honestly my guess is Imav didn't upgrade anything in the past like 6 year's. I wouldn't even be shocked if he didn't do security updates. When they moved to a new host. There trying to apply 6-7 year's worth of updates to a already antiquated forum system that is half broken. Also there most likely having to work on all the crap for the EU people. Since Massdrop is a bigger company that owns the sight now. They most likely want to bring it in line with the new EU guidelines. I might be mistaken, thought if that is the case it would also help explain why things are going so slow. Integrating that sort of coding into everything could be part of the issue.

The other possibility is simply when they moved hosting. They decided to go with a more updated host who agreed to let them run the current software on there systems knowing it be upgraded in the short term. I mean it could simply be they are looking toward's the future. I do know that the hosting Imav was using. Was giving 404 messages recently. I am still wondering if thats DDOS attacks. Who know part of the slow down with ETF's raffles could be something they did to help mitigate DDOS attack. Depending on what software there using how its implemented etc. Its not insane to assume everyone f5 for the raffle would trigger said software. I am sure there are several 100 if not thousand + doing it. There a lot of factors that could be the issue. I really hope you don't seriously think Massdrop is doing it on purpose to upset people. I am sure they want the community as healthy as possible since it makes them money.

With the recent notification issues with tapatalk/GH/IMAV I've missed quite a few of year #2. I've seen lots of folks here talking about missing days due to notifications getting missed. So I have tired to do something about it and while its purely in the prototype stage, I'll share it out while we work the bugs out. Today i decided to do this since its a mystery day and every little bit helps!

NO GUARANTEES!
today is the first day i've tried to integrate REMIND into this debacle. so you might not even get a notification today.

ONCE MORE KEEP watching your normal way. This is for if you're in the shower or at Target or otherwise away from your browser. I will laugh and post this post if you try to blame me for missing a raffle.

Seriously though, I wont be able to answer support calls for this. This setup has so many single points of failure its not even funny. Its also running on windows so we all know how reliable that can be. Anywho.
