Got our first photo of some of the double-shot caps from the Maxkey factory today! Crazy how fast things can move when you already have samples

All non-new keys have been shot, they are testing all of the novelty/new legend molds this week and will give us a concrete timeline once the testing is complete.

The factory lighting is likely to blame here. I have a sample blank shot of the blue/blue-gray and can post some photos shortly next to a grey PBT set

Ugh, just joined geekhack, can’t believe I missed this GB. This would have been right up my alley with the colors and the theme, looks absolutely amazing. Am I right in assuming you probably won’t do another run for another year or more? I see that some retailers might have it, just worried that 3rd party route will make the set go from affordable to not so affordable.

It's for buyer's who prefer 40% keyboard layouts

so it is 40% blank modifiers with alpha keys so they don't have to buy the full base kit

I'm in the same boat. Might go for Ortho+Alphas and ergo blanks instead. I might get an Ortho board in the future.

Hey there! OhKeycaps is the only vendor who decided to buy Ergo + Alphas kits. There aren't a _ton_ so I'd keep an eye out or join his email list.

Similar to my last comment, OhKeycaps and Novelkeys are the only vendors who bought extra Ortho and Ortho + Alphas kits! Those should be in their hands fairly soon.

Wow, the set looks great on that board.

Got mine yesterday via DHL. Very pleased that the colors came out so close to the renders. The grayish blue is perfect.
