The kmac looks silver maybe because of the Iphone's flash?!

No flash was used. It's just the way the light from the fluorescents reflects off the aluminum case that makes it look that way. Looks like boost shot from a different angle, making his less reflective.

demik isn't leaving GH, he's just cycling to it daily! Need to connect a dynamo generator to your rear hub and power your PC that way, demik. Mount your KMAC on your handlebars. :P

I also spend all my money on keyboards, and can't afford a decent camera. Maybe if I can sell my HHKB Pro JP, I can get a DSLR with those funds!

Keyboard Mania Attic Craft?! That's what KMAC means? I feel duped. LOL.

I like that "ra with rag".  Might look better on mine than the ones I got today :P

Anyway, got white ninja caps for my Filco Multicam.  Not sure if I like my orange and black or the white better, or with the green WASD keys:

Orange one again:

added a few new keys to my filco, mainly billiards and arrow + qweasd keys.

and my new pride and joy. my rainbow POM keys finally arrived so i was able to take some shots of it all setup on my ducky shine! the finished product is a thousand times better then i could have imagined, im so stocked with how it looks and feels! the spacebar that came with the set wouldn't fit but i actually like the overall look better with the black ducky spacebar.

let me know what you think :) sorry about the heap of photos but it just looks so awesome!

lit up:

what looks better, with or without WSAD keys?

and lastly a little vid of it if anyone is interested :P

They exist?  Seriously??  Where?!?

Someone was asking about them in another thread.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Cool, thanks.  Doesn't seem to be available in Australia though.

There is a Raptor K1, but it is a kayak.

It is a shame the key caps are not available separately.

Modified my spacebar from the CCnG kit to fit my PLUM96.  As you may be able to see I got a bit out of control when removing the Leopold 200 stabilizer

Bottom, think next time I will use more epoxy, but otherwise it works really well.  The spacebar that came with this keyboard certainly is the most universal one I have seen yet.

I thought so. I could have sworn it was a Filco, but the front logo being gone threw me. That, and I had never seen a silver Filco. :P

Nice job with the filler and paint! Looks great!

P.S. I am leaning on the engraving shop to get those badges to me next week. If not, I'll be refunding everyone. :(

J.D., oh no! I was really looking forward to getting those badges :(. If you are thinking of refunding because it is taking a little bit more time, don't think about it :). We can wait for something as nice as those badges.
Thanks on the compliments. It was my first time painting plastic like this, so I spent a good amount of time wetsanding and spray painting in thin coats to get it to be nice and uniform. I am planning on doing my Linear R in red when I get the time :D.

Thanks, absyrd. It's the closest I will get to custom anything for a while, so "debranding" for the win :)).

And I am pretty sure it's round 3 on that TN Solid. Still beastly though :D.
