And now I think we can say with absolute certainty that he was definitely behind the fake Clacks and not just someone who got taken advantage of.  Here's hoping he gets some lovely prison time...or sent to North Korea.

Speaking of fake clacks.  He's come a long way :)) http://www.kbdmania.net/xe/photo/5362770

Actually, he didnt make that fake. username 'Gearskorea' made that and share to him.
Recent CC fake is from him(JACK*******).

i remember someone who like him defenses he have not many cc and didnt know cc`s value, you are wrong.
He posted more CC pic on kbdmania, but after fake is happened, he deleted his pic thread.
but i found trace on google.

i knew Everything shows.

Dont defend him more.

Great, I'm totally f** up. Right now I can only hope that Team Red Line will take partial responsibility in this situation. Most people are not familiar with DrugER, they joined the DSA Dolch GB because of Team Red Line's reputation.

Feng, I'm sorry to tell you this but you have to know that.

They(LifeZone and Girldc) said "We are not responsible for the result, Druger did it by himself"
Though I don't understand why they said like that.

Lifezone :
 http://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?mid=board_cUlO13&document_srl=275365

Girldc :
 http://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?mid=board_cUlO13&document_srl=275293

If you want to solve this problem seriously you should contact them directly.

chaosstep thank you very much for the translation.  sounds like we should have another update soon since the deadline is approaching today.

we shall sit and wait. hell at this point seeing DrugER get arrested in Korea would be more rewarding than actually receiving the 97$ worth of caps i ordered.  i just want him to get whats coming to him.

of course if i was feng i would want the caps more than seeing police justice.  sorry feng.

There are four pages of posts on Keyboard Lab: http://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?mid=argument&sort_index=regdate&order_type=asc

Perhaps a Korean speaking member could skim these and post a synopsis?  Thanks in advance!

I'll have a look, give me a few. There will be a large edit to this post when I'm done.

DISCLAIMER: My Korean is rusty, and I'm not much good at it in the first place. If someone like vesperSAINT comes in an corrects me, they're probably right. I'm also a very sarcastic person, so some details may be exaggerated, and my choice of words may be incorrect in some cases.

This post says that DSA Dolch did not end well, and that GMK has been asked about the status of CMYW and a Beige set (presumably a Classic Beige, I don't follow Korean GBs). SoWalk expects everything to normalize soon, but he's still very upset. 5/7 of the comments are people being upset, and wishing that this never happened. Yuiop's longer comment says, in short, "Why did the foreigners get these while we didn't?" I assume that this is a reaction to Koreans not getting as many sets as they ordered, or none at all.

This post is about DSA Dolch, and how it was unfortunate that SP had to sell the DSA dolch sets. The main issue mentioned is that people who actually ordered in the GB didn't get sets, while people who weren't did. Some estimations of money lost/gained are thrown around in the comments.

This post basically says "Team Redline is banned, we're building a court case, nobody's happy about any of this." The comments are general agreement and some more mention of DSA Dolch issues.

Basically the same as the above post. Team redline is banned, here's who we're banning.

Most of the other posts are just people with problems with how DSA Dolch was handled by SP, and problems with the GMK Beige set. I skimmed most of the topic names, so I might have missed some other stuff. I figured the stickies were the most important ones.

Why are people still blaming SP?  That's like blaming the band whose concert you missef because you bought counterfeit tickets off a scalper.  Did they expect SP to give it away or give dibs to people who were scammed by the buy whether they could prove it or not?

Again, my Korean is lacking.

From what I can tell, they're mad at SP (still blaming Team redline) because they produced the set before they got paid, then sold it in a sale open to everyone. This is problematic because A) shipping to Korea is crazy expensive, something like $20-30 for one set, and B) they have to pay for the set again on top of that if they want it. This prioritizes "foreigners." which basically means us English speaking communities like GH and DT (which is largely EU as well) get an advantage over the Koreans and Chinese, who, percent wise, put more into the GB (or so it is said).

Not entirely SP's fault in my book, but I see why they're mad.

Maybe they didn't become aware of the sale on PMK until after most of them were gone?

Technically they didn't pay SP--they paid drugER who did not in turn pay SP, so SP is under no obligation to prioritize anyone.  It would have just been a kind gesture to notify all the communities involved that the set is going up for sale in advance.

I know :)  Just commenting on what I think about that summary, the fact that they are blaming SP.  Seems like more of taking out their frustration on a 3rd party.

Which doesn't really make any sense to me. I would sort of understand it if they were just looking for someone to blame, but it is pretty obvious who they should be blaming...

I'd say you did a good summary, bromang :D I'll give a more literal translation second point of view on some things, and won't repeat what TacticalBraw has already mentioned :)

The way SoWalk worded the first post, he says that because he found an untrustworthy aspect of SP's Dolche Replica buy, he's felt suspicion towards GMK's two-tone beige and CMYW buys (dat logic lulz). He has therefore sent an email to GMK and will update them as soon as he receives one back.

The second post, the poster is pretty much showing evidence to show that the chances of SP of stealing money from the Koreans and then going on to selling the product on their own site is very unlikely. He does go on to talk about how he finds suspicion in SP's actions by making the keycaps without confirmation and then selling the keycaps on their website, and points to certain areas of SP's response to questions from Korea. You can guess what the questions were with the English answers provided. However, he ultimately states that SP is a large company, and he believes that there is no reason for SP to cheat their customers in such an extreme manner. He is worried about how the Korean community's reputation may now have been stained permanently. He hopes that someone in the team will speak the truth on the matter.

Third and fourth post. tl;dr. Skimmed both and they're just pretty much summarizing the situation and how jackass has gone AWOL with the mula, and that he's now facing the ban hammer.

I think the idea of assassinating him is stupid, but I would be happy to start a fund to buy a ticket for one of us to go to Korea and beat the **** out of DrugER. We could even hold a lottery for who gets to do it.  You'd have to take a video of it for posting here.  I am completely serious about this.  That kid needs to have his ass kicked.

I only lost $102 but I feel so, so bad for the people that bought more, either for friends (which I've done in the past, but it worked out ok) or for inventory for their own shops.

This whole situation makes me so ****ing angry.  I will never buy anything through this site again, period.  No black mark against GH but refuse to take that risk.

Any yeah, no hard feelings at all against the GHers, I'm still gonna hang out here because I love keyboards and most people here are awesome.  That's just the last time I do a group buy.

If you join group buys directly via pimpmykeyboard you won't get problems. Some people who have experience with GBs (like Ivan) you can absolutely trust, too.

Any news?

There were a couple of vague references in a post by girldc recently.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

LZ had some threads about the Trik PCB back when I was in the TrikX GB. Specifically, he described the requirements for LEDs. I never bothered to save that thread because I could never have anticipated what was going to happen with that douchebag Druger.

Is there any way I can get to that thread or am I screwed on this account to (I mean in addition to not getting my Dolch set from that a**wipe)?

Cheers,

fyi I refunded everyone from my groupbuy. I missed a few people here and there or they had to accept the first attempt and it expired. If I missed anyone please send me a pm. but I am closing the dsa addons thread.

Korean boards aren't talking about it openly much, at least that I've seen

My sources there don't have much either.

For all we know, he could be K3.
