I have only just registered and seen your post while browsing the classifieds looking for a new keyboard. The das keyboard I bought used at the begin of my graduate studies has just died and I am looking for a replacement. If you still have a spare SSK and would consider selling to a newbie, you'd make me quite happy. I'm not looking to resell, I just really need a new keyboard for my job, and an Ansi layout SSK is near impossible to find in Europe.
Congrats to those that got in! And nice OP for selling at a great price! ;)

Everyone should have tracking numbers if you were one of the lucky ones. If you do not or you have the wrong number (I hope I wasn't that dumb) let me know.
The average shipping cost, not including the one to Canada, was $32.00. An average of $25 was calculated into the cost and anything over that I absorbed. My goal is to make everyone happy and make sure these end up in good hands and not resold on e-bay so I hope you all are using them not reselling them.
Tomorrow (Saturday) I will be back at cleaning and looking for this damn box of cables. If the cables are found I will have more to go around so stay tuned.
Happy clicking.

In response to your last update... I sent you a PM a little bit ago, as well as posting in this thread.
I would love to get my hands on a SSK with a cable (preferably PS2), but if you are having more and more trouble finding the cables, I would be alright with sourcing my own.
Either way, consider me sold. This is killer buy and I would hate to miss it -- I'm sure everyone here feels the same.

Sounds good. See my previous edit and check out the link provided. If those are the cables you are looking for, I'd gladly get one myself.
I will update your info to ASAP which means your ok w/o a cable.
We have cables but we have 5 locations with hundreds of boxes and they could be anywhere. I thought I was going to be able to find them faster, but I don't want to make anyone wanting one sooner than later wait longer than needed. You of course are not locked into any decision until you pay and it will be a day or two before I invoice anyone to give everyone a chance to chime in. It's easier to ship them all the same day.
I have updated the list as of 11/5/2017.
If you are not on the list you probably sent me a PM. Please post here. There are still plenty of SSK.
I have had a few people PM me about full sized, but going through PMs is harder than looking through the posts here. If you are one of those people please post here but I will go through my PM to try to sort those out. I have both hard wired PS/2 and SDL. If you want an SDL see below about the options for SDL cables. Let me know in your post what option you want. I don't have an exact count on the FSK (full size) yet as I have to test them.
Out of the first batch most all of you have your boards, and the only complaint I had was one board had 2 missing key covers. Those were sent out and should have been delivered. If there are any other issues please let me know so I can rectify those problems.
Onto the business of the SSK.
IF you are on the list and you wan an SSK _WITHOUT A CABLE_ let me know. 'WHEN' I find the cables I can then ship you a cable for the cost of shipping. You do not have to take this option and you don't have to have a cable if you don't want it. I know it sounds like you are being punished for extra shipping, but the prices were set by the owner. There are still PLENTY of these boards so I imagine everyone who wants one will get one even if they wait. There have just been several people ask about getting them w/o cables to get them sooner so I'm making this an option. Many of those don't need or want the cable.
Also I want you to all know I will be out of town from Nov11 - Nov20. I will be able to answer questions but will not be able to ship anything during that time.

The detachable ps2 cable is what you would need. I just don't like selling incomplete products even though they are used. It just sits uneasy on my conscious I guess. I aim to make sure that everyone gets a working unit as complete as I can possible provide. So I'm doing my best to do that but I also understand that there are people who are OK with a unit and buying a cable separate thus my decision to go ahead and start letting them go without a cable. I'll update the original post with the link here shortly, my dog is demanding I feed him before I post another message.

When was that?
Anyone needing a cable may also want to consider getting one of these:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/BEIGE-USB-to-SDL-6-Pin-6ft-IBM-Lexmark-Unicomp-Model-M-Clicky-Keyboard-Cable-NEW/271470078682?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
That's a cable with an SDL connector for a model M on one end, with a ps/2 to usb converter built into the usb connector on the other end.
Of course, there are also plenty of SDL to PS/2 cables available out there. I just think this is a neat option.
Oh boy, please put me down for one as well! I've been looking for one for a long time (long time lurker. I hope my join date was before the original thread)...
Edit: Oh boy. It looks like my registration date was 9 days after the original thread :( Does this really mean I am not qualified to purchase an SSK?

No, it just meant that older members got first shot but now I'm pretty sure there are enough to go around that it wont matter.

How many do you have? OP says list is way longer than the supply, but if I'm mistaken put me down.
There are 80 untested, maybe a few more than that, and I plan to test them tomorrow(Monday) and or Tuesday. So far of all I've tested only one had a broken key on the SSK. So I expect most will work but I also have to look at their condition after I wipe off the dust and dirt. I haven't updated the topic title yet as I've not tested them and not found cables. I will as I expect most if not all will work.Excellent! I would like to be put on the list for one (with white label), with cable (I am willing to wait).
I'v updated the original post with some more details.
If you see your name is missing from the list and you have posted directly in this thread let me know and I will add you in the correct position. If you sent me a PM please post here and I will get you added.
If you want an FSK please make sure you note you want an FSK not a SSK. I will have precise numbers on the FSK quantity on Wednesday. I will also post an updated date-stamped photo if I can get everything in the photo I'll do one just so we have a photo of them all together for prosperities sake.

It's very unlikely as I've only seen July and December dates so far but I can try my best to accommodate anyone with a date request.
I guess that disqualifies me then :-[ I did register after the original post, but have been a long-time lurker. Anyways, thanks for the opportunity!

I will check, I think I remember Dec 17th maybe. Most that I saw were 1992 if that matters to you or anyone but don't quote me on that till I check.

I have added the updated list.
Due to the fact that it's getting cold out and that is going to significantly hinder our search we are looking at just sourcing the cables.
If we source the cables we'll be able to ship to you much sooner. The catch is you would have to pay the extra $15. essentially we just have the lot of cables shipped to us and package it with the keyboard. you dot pay shipping on the cable as we have them all shipped in one lot to us and eat that shipping bill. If enough people are interested we'll make this an option.
There were some of you interested in FSK/104. I'm trying to put that list together but if you are please make another post here in this thread as it will make my life easier. I will however go back through my messages for those people.

I messaged you asking about Dec-17 and sadly none of them at the time were of that date. If that's changed, I'd love to work something out, perhaps get my board forwarded to someone else in exchange. :D

Just noticed I'm listed for a blue label. Can you add me to the white label list. I chimed in for one earlier in the thread according to the hierarchy.

Orihalcon's cables are pricey but they are really nice. Besides being clean and fresh, they are native USB and will not require any additional adapters or such in the future, when PS/2 goes away completely.
I would recommend those to anybody not on a tight budget, they are much prettier and generally future-proof.

Dude a modded cable with native usb would be SO awesome! worth the extra cash mentioned 100%
I feel like everyone has a different understanding about ship date. Maybe bmmcwhirt can clarify? I was under the impression that they would ship in list order as soon as he found the board matching your request. Now we're talking about a modded cable gb . What's the time frame on this looking like?

Your right it is a bit messy. I wanted to send out invoices to anyone marked ASAP tonight. I'm going to hold off till tomorrow so everyone has an option to change their mind.
I did talk with orihalcon about the cables and he has made a really good offer. If I have 20 of you wanting one I can get them for 32.50 and if there are 30 of you they will be 30.00. This would just be added to the price of the keyboard on your invoice. I'm not going to do a full on group buy for them they will be 1 per keyboard and only if we have enough parties to make it worth orihalcon's and my time. Everyone needs to also understand he's doing this as a favor if we decide to, these are not his normal prices. These cables normally run $37.33. I've seen photos and they look amazing! If we have a good response and you want to change from ASAP to getting a USB SDL cable just let me know. I do not at this time know how long it will take him to make the cables as we don't yet have a count on who will want one.
I really hope I'm not breaking any classified rules here I just want to get everyone the best product I can.

I'll be out of town tomorrow til sunday, will that hurt anything invoice-wise?
If I'm being honest this cable just makes the ssk more exciting. Sleek classic board with dat modern cable. Especially since ps/2 ports seem to finally(and sadly) be dying off.

From what I understood, originally, if we wanted to wait, we could get the original cable (SDL) shipped along with the keyboard, provided you are able to find them.
However, since the weather is getting colder now, you are currently looking at 'sourcing' them, which I assume means you'll be purchasing new cables from Unicomp? This will cost us an extra $15, but we won't have to pay for the shipping from Unicomp. Am I understanding this correctly?
Then, as an alternative, depending on the response, we also have the option to purchase Orihalcon's SDL to USB cable (price dependent on number of people interested).
So essentially, we now have 4 options:
1) Get keyboard, no cable
2) Get keyboard, original cable (if found)
3) Get keyboard, new cable from Unicomp (+15 USD, but no need to pay for shipping from Unicomp)
4) Get keyboard, Orihalcon converter cable (+30 - 32.50 USD, depending on number of interested people)
Is this all correct?

Not really. Everyone will get taken care of.If I'm being honest this cable just makes the ssk more exciting. Sleek classic board with dat modern cable. Especially since ps/2 ports seem to finally(and sadly) be dying off.
I'm not sure if I should take this to mean you want to be on the USB cable list or not.

I think opt 3 will be counter productive especially since we get no real discount from there. So if you take opt 3 out of that mix yes.
Damn, I missed out on this... Any left?
but does anyone have any better suggestions before I do?
I'm actually really on the fence between blue and white label. Are there any advantages here beside rarity? I honestly feel like single piece caps are a disadvantage, but I'm curious to hear what you all think.
White/Grey SSK with ideally a USB (or PS2) cable.
edit: is there a price difference between the cables and cable-less?

Only price difference is for the USB cable. As I stated before if you get it without a cable and want the cable when I find them it's just 2-3 bux for shipping. That just gets you the keyboard sooner than later for those wanting to buy a cable on their own or have one already. The USB cable is a very good deal if your going to use it in a non-ps2 environment as you don't have to have the adapter.
Let me know your choice and I will put you on the list.
List shows me as blue, would rather it be white. Do we have a list of dates for the boards?
However since they mostly came out of a school some time around 1998, some brilliant person thought writing 'SPACE BAR' and 'I' on some of them in permeant marker. I have simple green and alcohol which I know are good solutions for removing such blasphemy, but does anyone have any better suggestions before I do?

Usually the routine to get permanent marker out of something is to go over it with a dry-erase one, then wipe that off as it'll take some of the ink with it. Followed by cleaning with alcohol. Followed by mild abrasives like baking soda.
Not to pester you, but you said to tell you if you missed anything, and I haven't seen my name updated in the list :)
I'd prefer a white label without a cable please.
If they're all spoken for, then I'd be happy with a blue label. Either way, I do not need a cable though.

I will get you. I’m on the road tonight. I’m listing everyone that wants white then when I invoice if someone has to bow out I still know who is next. If they are gone when I get to the next whit labor request I’ll offer blue so that you have an option to bow out if you only want white.
A lot of the white SSKs are going fast. Looks like I might not get one!
How come there are 2 "ReadmeDotTxt" on the list? On at 9 and one at 29 on the list?
Not positive if this is still open, but if so I am interested in an SSK. No preference otherwise.

It is I will get you on the list. This week is going to be hectic as I'm living out of hotel rooms in Texas taking care of a few business things before the holidays.
For Everyone:
Right now we are still short on meeting our goal for people wanting the USB cable. There have been some new additions and I will get caught up on all that tonight. There are deffinatly more people wanting Grew/White than what I have matching keyboards so some of you farther down will definatly be getting an opt for blue notice from me once I have it all sorted.
For Everyone:Blue label SSK is better than no SSK! :) Hope the SDK cables are found soon! Looking forward to end the year with a bang :)

Not to be pushy, but any idea what ASAP invoices are going out and getting shipped? I'm hoping to get this in the mail before the holiday rush gums up shipping.
Just let me know if you want SSK/FSK, Blue/White[Grey], and no cable/ps2 cable/usb.My blue label ssk has 1-piece keycaps. Not sure if all the blue labels you have are all two-piece key caps, but I would like the following:
My favorite pic is the last one where you can see the SSK's stacked six deep! :eek:I know! I saw that after the front end shot and was like whaaaaaaa....
Props to you bmmcwhirt on all of this.Yes, mad mad props. It isn't easy going through a lot of hardware like this.

Hello everyoneI guess, this some how got lost in other posts. Is it possible and if so, am I already on the list? :)
I am also interested in a USB cable. Since I already own a Model M (not one from this selling), I'd like to only get the cable, if possible. I'm from Europe, so let me know if this is even possible.

I would like to add a USB cable to my order.
If any of them date code around Nov 1, that would be cool, but no big deal if not.
Thank you!
Hi @bmmcwhirt, can I still get in the list? I'm just new in this forum. I really want to have one for my own personal use. Not doing this for resell.
Just wanted to make sure you saw my post from before:I would like to add a USB cable to my order.

Back home! One long drive a mutilated deer and a destroyed Dodge Ram Bumper later.

Hate to hear about the deer and the damage, but am really glad everyone's alright. I had a coyote once do $4k in damage to one of my cars when he ran into the side of me. Makes you wonder what's chasing them that running onto a highway of speeding metal seems like a better way to go.
It's running about $80USD to ship to Canada and $90+ to ship to other countries.

:O Damn, that's a lot!
Was that a quote from USPS, UPS, or someone else?
How exactly is the updated list working now? It seems like users that joined prior to the starting date of this thread that have requested an SSK later than others get higher priority?
My name seems to keep getting bumped further and further down the list (getting bumped by users that requested an SSK at a later date than myself, but have an earlier Geekhack join date)

I believe he's selling first to people with accounts pre-dating the original thread. Once that group is all shipped, he'll sell the remainders to new comers. Like fohat said, it's all about giving back to a loyal community and protected against deal-hunters / resellers.
I'm updating the list and going to update the original post in the next hour. If you check and it's been updated make sure you are on there and the information is correct.Didn't see my name on the list. :'(
I'll add this to the OP as well: If you are outside the USA, several people have found remailers that are far cheaper than what I'm able to ship for. It's running about $80USD to ship to Canada and $90+ to ship to other countries. The remailers run about 20-40 and that is a huge savings. If those of you that have used one or looked into it could chime in to help the others I would greatly appreciate it. My goal here was to get as many of thee into the hands of fellow clackers as affordably as possible and that shipping is killing the dreams of some and it's pissing me off.
I looked in to DHL but they want me to have a corporate account in order to even get a quote so if anyone has other thoughts please let us know.
I've been on the fence about this one for so long, but let's go for it. If there are any left, I'd love to have one. I'm not particular about the label, and I already have cables.

With new people keep coming in who registered before the og thread, I am afraid all recent registered like myself would never get the board at all...Was 13 on the list, now got bumped all the way to 34. I am quite sure there would be no white for me, may be no cable, nothing probably. Just sad to think about...
Thanks for covering the extra cables, beige sounds great. Can't wait to try out my first model M.
if any one has an extra q key please let me know. Mine came with two o's
awesome thanks so much, I don't mind waiting.if any one has an extra q key please let me know. Mine came with two o's
I can take care of that for you, It was probably my mistake anyway. If your in no hurry it will probably be a few days, maybe a week before I can sort out all the extra caps.
Great news! Will folks who have already received their SSK be able to still purchase a USB cable?
Working out the final details with orihalcon and I should have an ETA for all of you with USB cables.
Once I have the ETA and details worked out I will invoice.
Here is some more information on shipping. We are using the USPS Flat Rate game box. Sam box we will use even if we ship UPS. Weight is between 4 and 5lb I forget the exact weight.Holy cow that's crazy shipping prices from usps.
https://pe.usps.com/text/dmm300/Notice123.htm#_c334
CA Price for the Flat Rate is $59.95. I'm not fiding what the other zones are on my quick search but this give you an idea of the sipping cost.
Large Flat Rate Boxes
(max wt. 20 lbs.)
12" x 12" x 5-1/2" Inside
12-1/4" x 12-1/4" x 6" Outside
23-11/16" x 11-3/4" x 3" Inside
24-1/16" x 11-7/8" x 3-1/8" Outside
1[CA]: $59.95 2: $86.95 3: $88.95 4: $86.95 5: $90.95 6: $95.95 7: $89.95 8: $93.95
I'm happy to ship to international however is best. For domestic the flat rate is just the easiest option for us so we are ok eating the price even though many locations could be shipped a few dollars cheaper. Origin zip code is 46952.
Awesome work! Glad to see the great photos of the new homes for these lovelies. :thumb:
I don't know if you've got this noted elsewhere, but I wanted both a ps2 (with a large built-in ferrite if you find one) as well as the usb. The table above only has me for a usb.
I don't mind waiting until spring to ship everything together. I know I'll probably one of the exceptions in this regard though. It's a tremendous job you've got in front of you, especially with the weather now. And if I end up making a trip to Indiana to visit some in-laws, I'll give you a heads up in case you want some free labor. :thumb:Awesome work! It's not necessary as everyone who gets a USB has the option to pay the shipping only on the ps2 when I find them. You also have the option of having it all shipped together but it's possible it could be spring before Im able to get through all 5 storage locations as there are boxes stacked 8-15 foot high in some of them and as much as 25 feet deep. My friend/former boss who actually owns all this stuff has acquired all this through 4 businesses he's owned or worked at over the past 30-40 years as well as some auction buys.
As far as UPS goes, I would have to source boxes as they will not allow me to use the USPS boxes. They have specifically told me so. So that ads about $5 to the shipping rate you are talking about. It's still cheaper yes, but here where I am getting boxes is much harder as they just closed the Staples so I would have to order boxes and pay shipping on those and that all ads up to the point where the USPS is about the same with less hassle but yes far worse tracking logistics (which everyone loves UPS for their amazing tracking). I have looked at several options and when you run all the numbers not just the surface shipping cost they all come out about the same. Unfortunately USPS is the easiest for me.
Once we have Off-Key off the ground all orders will be shipped UPS no matter what just because of the amazing logistics they have, that is if they quit trying to force me to use Windows to automate my shipping process! That will be a deal breaker as their scale, printer, software combination is Windows only at this time.
I cannot see the list. Could be that I'm on tapatalk. I'll try to get to a real computer soon but I'm in the boonies of SE Asia so might be a few days. Pls don't give mine away.

Just to clarify, do you want everyone on the list to send you a PM with their Paypal e-mail and address, or only the ones that are in the 'main' list (and not the flow through)?I'm wondering about this too. It seems you've been focused on the cables, but are you also collecting information for the next round of keyboard invoices as well?
I am interested in SSK.

Those of you getting the USB cable, If I have your location as in or out of the US you will be getting an invoice in the next 24 hours. If you are outside the US I have contacted you with the shipping rates. If I do not know if you are in the US or out of the US you need to let me know so we can discuss shipping.
Just FYI, you invoiced me for the USB SDL cable as well which wasn't in my order but I paid it anyway because it will probably come in handy.
Just letting you know so you can adjust your list to indicate I've paid for a USB cable.
Is it too late to get one of these?
What about people who have chosen to forego a cable entirely? I'm still listed as PS/2 when I don't need a cable at all.I'm in this group as well.

Kavik and Techno Trousers, I will invoice you two when I get home form THE MOVIE. Send me your emails via pm for the invoices and if you are in the US or not.
This is somehow off topic. But what would be the difference between white and blue label aside from the manufacturing date? Why would someone prefer white over the blue label?
Earlier ones typically have a thicker metal plate
Agreed. I have several model Ms that vary in age all over the place and every time I think I know what year I'm typing on, I'm wrong. And guess what? They all still feel awesome. :thumb:
Earlier ones typically have a thicker metal plate
Earlier = 1988 at the latest.
There was another slight weight reduction around 1992.
The differences are marginal. Don't obsess about age. A blue label 1993 in good condition is a perfectly acceptable specimen.
If it's not too late (that is, if more boards turn up or something), I'll take one. White label preferred but not a dealbreaker. Shipping to Sweden would need to be added for mine. And I don't need a cable.
I have yet to receive an invoice for the cable. No sweat, just want to let you know in case something went wrong.
I have the tracking number on the cables nd they will be here next week. All this holiday stuff is making things slow including me. I wanted to ship the two keyboards that have no cable yesterday but some things got in the way and it looks like it will be tomorrow.I'm a no cable one, and I'm in no rush. Totally understandable this time of the year.
I apologies to everyone for all the delays. The good news is that when the cables get here christmas will be over so there should be no problems.

Enjoy Christmas and don't worry about keyboards, dude. Thanks for your work :thumb:
Let me just lay this down right here so you can see the quality.
I firmly like to stay in the 20th century! :)
Orihalcon SDL-to-USB cables are the finishing touch to bring any Model M into the 21st century.

I got my ssk and I'm satisfied with it. Though I'm missing a couple of keys the F2 and Zero keys. But I can easily find it in ebay. Thank you so much!
Just plugged her in :) thanks bmmcwhirt! My board was born on my half birthday 6 years before I was born.
The switches are a little heavy, but I just need to get used to them. Unfortunately I'm missing the <, keycap.

I'm glad many of you are getting your SSKs already. I still have a few international shippments that are pending or going out on Tuesday, I'm invoicing you all tonight(12/31).
A few of you that got boards early have asked about getting the USB cables and I'll invoice you for the cable and shipping tonight(12/31) as well.
Those of you with missing caps I'll do my best to get those out on Tuesday as well some of you have been waiting far too long and to be honest, I just forgot, no excuses, I just forgot. These will goto the same address your board went. I just have to run out and get some small padded envelopes.
enchong: F2, Zero
afrokobe: Q
hamilton: < ,
Lastly, it's a bit early, but Happy New Year to you all.
Hey guys,
If anyone wants a white label SSK with Orihalcon's USB cable let me know. Alphas are floss modded but that can be removed. Priority goes to: people on the waiting list > people who commented on this thread but not on the list. This SSK is from bmmcwhirt and will be priced the same as his (175 for white label SSK and 25 for Orihalcon cable for 200 shipped total by USPS Priority Flat Rate).

I just received mine. No missing keys and a even spare spacebar since the one it came with still had sharpie on it! :thumb:
I love the size. Not only is it thinner because of the lack of numpad, but it's also shorter because the top bezel is smaller.
The rivets towards the bottom are broken (not uncommon for Model Ms), so a bolt mod is in order, which should improve key feel. All keys are functional however.
Thanks for the great deal and fast shipping, bmmcwhirt!

Spent a couple hours on teardown and cleanup this morning. Only a single rivet is broken and it cleaned up really nicely.

Even though I got mine a while back, I have yet to check for broken rivets. I'd be more of less nervous to do my first bolt mod on this sucker, considering they're pretty rare and certainly not cheap. I'm assuming broken rivets are pretty common.

I don't blame you for not wanting your first bolt mod to be an SSK. Bolt mods aren't terribly difficult, but there are some things I didn't fully understand until I actually went through the process (I've done one full bolt mod and one partial). The main two recommendations I'd make are 1) to make sure you drill straight holes (use some sort of brace, a good bit, and a steady hand) and 2) drill the holes before you break the sandwich apart because the metal holes don't line up quite how you'd think; also, that way, the barrel plate still has the support of the metal back plate when you're drilling.
On my first one, I broke everything apart before drilling. It was harder to get the holes aligned properly this way, and it was harder to brace the barrel plate without the metal back plate on it (it's actually a pretty flimsy piece of plastic when it's not riveted to a piece of metal).
That said, don't mutilate a Model M unless it actually NEEDS a bolt mod. If it feels nice to type on, and all the keys are functional, it doesn't need it. Weak clicks in the numpad, nav cluster, or modifier keys are the usual signs of needing one in my limited experience.
Is there a number of broken rivets that is acceptable, or rather a number where I should consider it in the 'danger zone'?
My right and up arrow keys sound a bit weird. When I took it apart I noticed that the rivet was broken near them. I'll fix it one day, but for now I just accept it for it's unique sound quality :)
Unicomp doesn't make new membranes or blankets for the ssk so he would have to use the original parts.

A standard blanket ("membrane" in Unicomp-speak is the dome layer in a rubber dome assembly) can be cut with a pair of scissors to fit the SSK with no problem. IBM was good about consistency like that.
Has there been any update?
Np we chillin. Thank you once again for hosting this :thumb:Has there been any update?
No. As soon as the weather warms up I will be able to do more. I will try to clean up the list for those that have been fulfilled already in the near future.
I did try to contact Unicomp about just getting PS2 cables but the discount was only going to be about $1.00 per cable and at quantities I was not willing to purchase.
How can I have missed this. Terrible mistake.
...As soon as the weather warms up ...I would like to buy one with a USB cable.

AS OF 11/27/2017 I am taking no more interested parties.
I want to get the list correct and get these taken care of before we go any further[I always for get if this counts as distance or existential but I'm using further anyway].
I'm updating the list in a few min so lets keep new posts to corrections and changes or other important matters. Then after this I'll evaluate how many are left.
If I need to make corrections, please post the correction in the same format as the list with all the fields.
GOOD NEWS!
We are close enough to the 30 marker on USB cables that I am going to cover any needed to bring it to 30 which means the price will also be $30.00 not $32.50. orihalcon has also informed me that you can have your choice of beige or black cable on the USB cables. I am going to assume beige unless I get a correction. If you are still listed as PS2 and wish to switch to USB that is fine just make the post in the proper format with USB/Black or USB/Beige . if your listed as just USB it's assumed beige.

We've made it through one storage unit and no cables. It's so nice that it went from cold as hell to hot as hell.
I've not done much, in fact I have 120 Aristotle and 120 Gateron Greens to Gatistotle Greens but haven't even had time to build those either.
I have totally not given up on finding the cables but if anyone is getting impatient I still have a few of the USB cables left or if you want no cable at all feel free to let me know. I still have enough keyboards for everyone I let get on the list. I wont sell these to anyone else, as I stated very early on I want these to goto people who will appreciate and cherish them.
Originally I thought there were 5 locations thus I'd be down to 4, turns out there are 8 so Im down to 7. If your a math enthusiast your head is hurting about now. Fortunately at least one of those is a small storage facility.
If anyone has a magic SDL Cable detector I could use that so get ahold of me.
I'm guessing that the SDK cables still have not been found?
Orihalcon's cables are the obvious choice. Pricey, but elegant, and modern and USB.
Orihalcon's cables are the obvious choice. Pricey, but elegant, and modern and USB.
The people left are those that did not want USB cables as I already did a large order from him and those people have already received their keyboards. If anyone wants to change their mind about that at this point I can talk to him about another bulk buy. I can also see if he has the ability to just make ps2 cables if that is something people are wanting but I cannot offer these free just the same as the USB. It will be whatever the cost is of the cables but getting them in bulk is usually cheaper than what he sells individual cables for.
I am open to whatever the people want and will do my best to accommodate everyone.
