Mine is a work in progress.  I wish I'd noticed this thread earlier :)

http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=44191.0

My favorite keyboard so far, though I've had it less than a day :). I'll get proper photos when it's more finished.

Thanks! I did a more two-tone layout (model M-esque) but I liked the simplicity of this one more.  Will post pics of the other setups soon.  ;)

My other half got me the first (yellow) one after I got my first Ducky keyboard, the second one was unexpectedly included with my second Ducky keyboard.

I'm sad my Ducky Shine did not come with one if these :(
-----

Does anyone have white thick PBT caps to show how they transmit backlight (at max brightness and at lowest brightness settings)?  I saw a photo not long ago (can't find it again) showing gray IMSTO PBT not transmitting any LED backlight, but white did.  But the photo was not of a Ducky keyboard.  I'd like to see how white thick PBT would look with top-mounted LEDs.

Also, similar question for double-shot ABS in light colors.

Photos would be greatly appreciated of dimmest and brightest LED settings!!

The caps are to be replaced eventually with lighter Shine caps or something else.

Nice [former?] collection VesperSAINT. I forgot all about the OC.net edition until I saw yours. Pretty cool. And where did you get those blank windowed keys in the first image? Are those straight from Ducky?

XD And nice LSAT books. My prep books are in similar uses...

Thanks! Yeah, the only one I have now is the DK9008 G1 w/ Blues because I sold the others off in favor of the Ergo-Clear that's upcoming :P I really do kind of regret selling the Greens but it was too expensive to keep and I wasn't using it enough.

The black on black did come stock from Ducky on my Blues. It's a pretty old keyboard now so I don't know if they still sell those keycaps. If you look at my first picture of the Blues, those are the white on white equivalent of the black on blacks. Here is another older pic of the full set:

Yeah, the prep books I'm using as a monitor stand are of the older version of the test so they are just big heavy weights :P

Thanks guys, I'm very happy with my Ducky!  It's way more pink than I had planned for, but eventually I want to mix the pink caps with white or gray... once I find them.  It'll be more like the Valentine theme from a recent GB here.  Aluminum spacebars were a no-go... they just look too dark with Shine caps and backlight on.

Finally swapped out the keys for a more two-tone look:

I also did a little soldering and swapped out the LEDs in the Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, and Number Lock to red to make them more noticeable when they are toggled.

That gray and black go well together, especially with white backlighting.

I was surprised to discover (when I originally bought it) that the caps/scroll/num LEDs on my Ducky with red backlights are actually blue.  Made for a nice contrast.

Curiously my other Ducky with green backlighting is all green.

But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

That gray and black go well together, especially with white backlighting.

I was surprised to discover (when I originally bought it) that the caps/scroll/num LEDs on my Ducky with red backlights are actually blue.  Made for a nice contrast.

Curiously my other Ducky with green backlighting is all green.

Funny story about how I ended up with white backlighting: I couldn't make up my mind at the time of purchase and went with a neutral option. ;)

Whoa...blue indicator LEDs...sounds cool!  I think I'll see if I can get some blue LEDs and experiment on the 4 app buttons on the upper right of the keyboard.

infiniti, I hope you don't mind, but I think my keyboard is going to be just about an exact clone of yours. I just like it that much :P

The LED mod was a great idea. It really looks slick.
