[IC] ANSI 150 Phantom/TKL plates?
« on: Tue, 20 October 2015, 13:00:56 »
How many would be interested in seeing this become a reality on MechanicalKeyboards.com?

We are looking at three options:

1. Anodized Aluminum (Black)
2. Stainless Steel
3. Regular Steel (Black Paint like OEM)

Thoughts or comments?

Would definitely like to see this. I vote for colors blue, purple, dark grey, or black.

Aluminum or stainless steel? I assume since you're asking about color it would be aluminum?

It'd be awhile before I was in the market for another phantom plate. BUT yes, ANSI winkeyless / 1.5 mods is my favorite, with 7-bit  a close second.

I'd prefer stainless but here's a thought: nickel plating. It's like a color but compatible with stainless.

Update...we are looking to the possibility of carrying frames for these, which will be just a top and bottom with standoffs. We would likely only carry the WKL and 7Bit only.

Definitely want one of these plates. Don't care for that type of case tho.

I would buy a plate if they were made available. Black, would be what I would like, but offering them in similar colors to the other phantom plates would be nice.

Definite possibility but not sure when we will be carrying them...we need to sell down our remaining inventory of the ANSI125's.

I would buy 3-4 of them if available. Stainless Steel preferred, but Dark Gray, Silver, and Red would be my colors of choice for aluminum.

That's great. Stainless steel is what we are likely going to have produced based on the feedback we are seeing

Would love a plate with the cutout for a controller for the Filco.

Are you able to link a current design for this; or does it not yet exist? I know there is the 7Bit, but it has no stabilzers at all.

It appears that there is not a lot of people lining up for them. We are considering the Full Filco plate design for now.
