Hot Take: I'm skeptical about the alpha color, but I think the rest may end up being good.

R2 Samples are finally, finally here.

Let me start by saying sorry on behalf of all the delays. Also, let me say sorry for one last delay, which I'll detail below.

Here are the latest samples, along with the previous samples:


Here is my proposed fix side by side:


Good news:
Accents base colors and legends are in line with my expectations.
Modifier colors are warmer than my expectations (compared to the chip), but they do fit with the accents.

Bad news:
Alpha base color is too cool / blue, and is now outside of my expectations.

Delay:
I need one last alpha color sample. 
I was targeting WS2, which is quite blue in person, but now I'm changing course and targeting WFK.  That is the blank cap in the pictures, and the side by side with the mod color.

I'm not thrilled with this choice; however, I personally I like that color combo more than WS2 + The Chip, and I feel this is a reasonable compromise to get this set done and in your (hopefully, not angry) hands after a year (plus whatever time remains).

Progress is progress.  :)

My personal interest is in the "barely there" nature of the main legend rather than the accents.  Also ofc the KAM profile to work with my selfbuild dactyl manuform.

Happy to go with whatever you think works best.

Yea, thanks for the update and by the way R2 looks so much better than R1, so I guess it's worth to wait a little bit longer to stick to your vision.

Update: fedex lost my pantone chips, so pantone is shipping me more. Then, pantone told me they were sold out of one of the chips I ordered, which won't be in stock until Aug 31.

So that's just even more waiting.

Anyway, here's some white pantone chips to stare at.

Sorry for the probably stupid question, but why do you need RAL chips at this time in production?

Darn, sounds like KeyReative rides the short bus....I really hope they can get themselves together.....I want my Ghost kits bad & ready for the ride to complete too @fireworm
