Kerning is so it doesn't end up like GEEK HA CK but GEEK HACK like it should have been, space is a little too much in my example, but there is like a quarter space that shouldn't be there.

I though it was a neologism only you guys using to describe a certain reality... not something this official.

Thank you, I understood that kerning (Google chrome underline me this word in red) was about having the right space between letters, in consideration of which two characters were making up for the pair of letters to be adjusted, one next to the other. Overlapping their "vital" space and making them a bit closer together to improve the look of a font. And the font used in command window doesn't have kerning.

It has nothing to do with "centerization" or alignment of the actual printed legend.

Well they technically could, they just won't since it has multiple line widths, and would require a cutter change... too much work for them apparently. What I don't get is that on graphic/icon type legends, they don't seem to have a problem with multiple line widths, or I am missing something?

Nice to hear that Lysol, give it some time to run specially since Ragnarocks GB went so well and most likely will also the Cream cheese. I have no doubt this one will do well too even though has the pink color, the colors look rich and the combo of both is really nice, who cares if its pink when it looks good.

Nothing but standard 87 ANSI kit is currently planned. If there is enough demand for other keys (ISO enter, 1.5 modifiers, numpad, etc), I will see about adding it.

I was addressing lootbags question about other keysizes. Set will still include the alternate WASD pink on white, the 1.25 Miami and flamingo keys, and geek hack keys. Other keys may be offered if there is enough interest for those that may want ISO keys, 1.5 or 1 unit modifiers, 1.75 or 2 unit shifts, numpads... Just not enough have asked for any of it at this time for me to even get a quote.

Just made this account recently, been on this site far too long as well, and this will be my first post!
Finally making the switch to mechanical keyboards, grabbing a ducky year of the rabbit with black switches. Going to game hard on that.
And so I just want to say I think those pink on teal caps would just look damn sexy on that keyboard.

I think you are being too pessimistic. People like change (as expensive as that may be). Give it a few moments (<-- HA! I meant to write months but that is too funny to remove), post an interest check and see how much momentum you can build. I think you'll be surprised. If you think you have an idea that might appeal to a different audience, you can also post it in other forums. I love odd color combos (probably because I'm colorblind) and welcome your idea!

I'd gladly participate in a GB from a member that has been around for a while anyways, no offense to you. Chances of the GB running smoothly are better with a more established member at the head. I'd probably join up on your GB FWIW, but can't get too stressed that someone else came out with a similar GB to you.

Actually, the Filco's pink looks almost exactly the same as both SigPlast's ABS pinks, depending on the lighting. This is why I'm planning to put together a light pink set with dark pink legends and dark pink modifiers with light pink legends. Should be a subtle almost pink ninja. With Unicorn CTRL keys and Pony ALT keys.

87 base kit + Add On Miami kit (Pink on White WASD, Miami, Flamingo, South Beach, Ocean Drive Modifiers and Palm Tree Esc).

Well if you consider one extra key in the future, let it be the "South Beach" key. Miami isn't what it is without South Beach.

True that! Miami Beach is where all the Art Deco architecture and neon started; it's what gives Miami those colors and that whole Art Deco aesthetic. If it weren't for Miami Beach, Miami's colors would be "cigar leaf brown" on "alligator olive drab". :-P

Speaking of colors.... Is this really going to be TEAL or is it CYAN (as all the mockups present).

Yes it certainly is the best looking keyset that I've seen here as well.
