Very thoughtful to include a Tab key in the Katakanas kit, which makes a whole lot of leftout become another complete set.

All GBs should have done this long ago.

We are seeing a very very low number of Katakana and Obscure kits being ordered. At this point, these kits will obviously not come close to MOQ at this rate. So we will be dropping the Katakana and Obscure kits from this Group Buy. I really hate to drop both of these kits but we would rather cut them out now rather than having to after more people get them and are looking forward to them. The rest of the kits are doing well and we're on our way. Thank you to everyone who has joined so far!

Maybe an alpha kit with both Japanese and English letters can save the idea, while making the kit usable for a significantly larger range of people from all countries.

Without the Japanese it's really a shame and shifting a bit away from what makes this set so special..

I was entirely ready to pass on this set until I saw how awesome the Katakana kit matched up with the novelties and Rama artisans :( I was holding off on joining later on this month since there are other GBs ending sooner but now feeling guilty since I could have boosted those numbers.

I do understand cancelling it I suppose as I noticed most of the Pure Hiragana alpha kits from other sets don't usually sell more than 50-70 kits max. If you do ever bring them back, I think they'll at least hit 50 kits which seems to be just enough for GMK to be willing to make them as long as the other kits do well (I'll totally be back on board for every kit if that happens). I'd even be fine paying a little more for it due to the low numbers although it'll probably be pretty pricey close to Carbon R2 numbers. Other than that, I suppose there's hope to mix them with a potential Japanese kit from GMK Green Tea if that ever takes off.

Exactly this.  I simply don't have a sense of urgency to enter an unlimited GB until the end of the GB window.  As a buyer, this is the first time I've seen such a hyped GB just drop kits like this. 

Coral Relief was really struggling but is going to end up meeting MOQ.  I'm extremely disappointed you guys didn't let the kit run the course of the GB.
