Hi,
This is an interest check for a GMK "Esc" Key Pack, titled "Rubik's Cube".
This set will feature 6 Row 1(E) Keycaps, with each keycap representing 1 of the 6 colours found on a Rubik's Cube.
The MOQ is 150, and the price will be £14 ($17.38) per pack.
This keycap pack will be available to purchase through the CAPS UNLOCKED store.
All feedback is appreciated.
Thank you.

Always in for a mixed Esc pack
-
I like it! Can't say no to more Esc caps

Much more apropriate would be the cluster
(R1) | ins | home | pg-up |
(R2) | del | end | pg-dn |
(or the numpad keys 1...9).
Mix'n'match the 6 colours as you like!
Or did you ever have a Rubik's Cube in it's pristine order (OK, the day you bought it :) ).

Yellow and white don't mix well...

That is a fairly interesting idea, thank you for the feedback!

Although it does not look great in the render, I have the colour samples, and the colour combination looks much better and more visible in real life. If there is enough support to change the legend to black, then that can be changed no problem. Thank you for the feedback.

I'd be interested. In the future, could you do other colors as well? It's a shame I missed out on other great ESC packs. :(

For this Esc Key Pack I wont be adding any other colours. Which colours would you like to see in the future?

I'd love to see white on red, like the ones on a honeywell keyboard.

Oh no, apologies, I didn't mean any additionals for this set. It's great the way it is!
I meant other ESC packs in the future, like the Cyan on Magenta, maybe even Black on White, White on Black, Purple on Beige, etc. I would love a whole F row of different ESC keys someday! :D
Edit: White on Red looks fantastic as well! But the cherry red, not the odd standard orange red.

I will definitely make a note of this suggestion, and will consider these colours for future packs. Thanks!

Sign me up for a set. Can always use more ESC keys... :))

I believe the yellow keycap would look better with a black legend.

This is an interesting idea. Would you want R1 and R2 to have 6 Keycaps each (1 per colour)? Or would you just want 3 x R1 and 3 x R2, with 3 colours being one 1 Row, and 3 colours being assigned to another?
-
Personally, I'd enjoy one single cluster with six different colours.
-
Sigh, just bought the Esc pack with CP on AE yesterday then this popped up. Trying to match with GMK WoB and some AE mods, so this pack using WS1 instead of CP is something I would probably buy.

Ok, so only 6 keys?

Just 3 per row - a cluster of 6.
Or the NUM keys 1...9 - the Rubik's cube has 9 slices on each side.

Any preference as to which colours you would want on R1 and R2?
The keycaps would have to be blank, so you can rotate their positions, just like a Rubik's Cube. This is a really interesting idea.

The six very colours in the Rubik's Cube, as posted in the OP.

The colours will be the same as the ones in the OP, however I was asking whether you wanted to see any particular colours on R1 and R2. But if you have no preference then that is fine.

If you mean a particular order then no, I don't really have any preference.
-
A bit off topic but has anybody ever made wasd sets in different colours from GMK? I can't recall seeing any but I haven't looked that carefully? Would be cool to get like an an esc, wasd and space pack or something? Just an idea anyway...

Blanks are OK, I've got no colour preference!

Apologies for the late reply. Thank you for the feedback! I think this is an interesting idea, and if there is enough support for it, then I will definitely consider changing this from an ESC pack to 3xR1 and 3xR2 Keycaps.

Why not both? Esc packs are always warmly welcomed.
-
I don't really have any use for a technicolour nav cluster so I'm not interested in that set, but more Esc keys are always welcome!
-
Ya, I'd be exclusively interested in the Esc pack.
Side note, I wouldn't be against GB's for accent packs that match popular colors from Esc pack. i.e. an enter, arrow keys, and numpad enter in Green AE and White WS1 :thumb: or something similar in idea and low cost.

interested!

Thank you all for the feedback. I have changed the colour of the legends on the yellow key, to black. I am waiting to receive updated renders from GMK.

Interested!

I have decided to change "AE" to "N7". I am currently waiting to receive updated renders. This group buy will hopefully go live before the end of the week.
Questions: How do I create a new Group Buy post? I am unable to do so at the moment.

Much better now.
I have decided to change "AE" to "N7".
Good as well, a darker green would look better.
Questions: How do I create a new Group Buy post? I am unable to do so at the moment.
You simply post a thread in the group buy section and wait for a moderator to approve it.
When creating a new thread there you're shown this message.
Note: this post will not display until it's been approved by a moderator.
Do you already have any production timeline and price quote from GMK?

I have a production timeline and quote from GMK. The lead time for the set will be about 12 weeks.
Regarding the Group Buy thread, I see no option to create a new post / thread.

I guess there's a minimum post count for that. For classifieds it's 25, might be the same.

Great stuff, in for two!
