Would anyone be interested in this? Does Signature Plastics stock a good cyan and a good magenta or would we have to do a custom color order off of pantone?

Here is what I have for Pantone colors:
Cyan - 16-4529, 3115C, 319C, 3252C, 3255C
Magenta - 226C, possibly one called magenta C.
Yellow - 803C, 102C, or 3945C

The only issue with new colors from Signature Plastics is getting enough of a sale to use the material to warrant a purchase. If we added in CMY colored spacebars and other keys to the DSA CMYK set then it would probably not be hard to hit an order large enough for the new custom colors. Gamer kits could even be done to help make it happen.

When it comes to doing an RGB, I don't care as much about which red, green, and blue are used because there is a little room to play with colors. However cyan and magenta are very specific colors and I think SP doesn't have either one. Some people have also complained about their yellow options so I am not opposed to looking into a better solution for that color as well.

That is PBT so unless SP decides they can doubleshoot the legends we want in PBT, or we utilize dye sublimation, that one is a no go.

Yea I don't see why not. Maybe even a touch more elaborate with some matching escapes and other goodies. I personally don't want "Alt Gr" keys, but if others do we can add it on in addition to two regular "Alt" keys. Maybe even do a general CMYK with DCS profile simultaneously. Also speedy.

btw Daniel something needs to be done with the DSA stem problem, hope Druger and Dololigato can get things fixed before their GB goes into production. Someone needs to have a talk with SP rep.

there is a thread regarding people complaining the keycap getting so stuck to the cherry stem that when they try to pull it out the pull out the whole top of the switch.

Seconded.

With the RGB Black & White PBT sets, and the blank DSA Dolch set coming, there are a lot of blank DSA boards out there to warrant this.

Since DSA in't contoured, you could put the 1 unit CMYK caps in any row. You could get unicorn vomit everywhere.

So bad news for PBT lovers, SP currently only has the ability to sublimate on 1 space, 1.5 space and 2 space key caps so it will have to be ABS.

Good news is, with Esc keys, gamer sets, spacebars, and the actual DSA and DCS CMYK packs we should be able to get custom order color cyan, magenta, and yellow. I'll ask around for some mockups and maybe we can combine it in with a fade group buy.

Yes but to get the custom color we need to sell a LOT of the material. For just a small quantity of blanks we would have to use the colors SP already has and they will potentially not look as good as the double shots with custom pantone accurate cyan and magenta. Now if we do a "fade" set for 60% boards where black is on the top and bottom rows, and the middle three rows go from cyqan to magenta to yellow, then we can do the other keys as well.

I need to get some mock ups made I think.

Neither pbt or abs has a good magenta, and cyan is questionable. I would rather order off of the pantone number and get exactly the color we want.
