Is it a hard case??
It's a soft case with foam cushioning on the inside, the intended use is for storing keyboards and not for travel(still could, nothings stopping you ).
I guess what you referred is almost right. It's not a box, but close to a pouch that has a rigid shape.
That is, it is different from sleeve or something. However, I don't know how rigid it is exactly.
Are these like the OTD Eva cases? They look like it.
I've heard that the hard cases intelli used to make were the best. You may be able to get in touch with him and see if he is still open to making them. I have never used them, but have an EVA case, and its okay but there is zero internal padding.
I also guess it is so similar to an Eva case.
Unfortunately I can't get a picture to show the inside part of it.
However, according to the product description, it is filled with high-density thick foams(aka sponges) play a role to protect shocks like cushions.
It is said that its thickness is 6 mm(about 0.23 in) or above.
yuktsi,
How about this one? The same pouch you referred?

Looks very similar other than the holes, that one looks to be for a 60% though. It seems smaller to me
According to the product description, it seems to be able to support 60% as well as 80% at the maximum.
Oh ok that makes sense now, if yuktsi can get the price under $20 then it's a steal in my opinion. I wonder how thick the padding is on the outsides though, I'm not too concerned if they're just going to be stored away but it's better to be safe than sorry. They don't seem to be too bad of a carrying case if you toss it in your book bag as well, may be a little too thick.
FYI.
The price was about $33 on average. The lowest I saw was about $16.
