Ah, thanks for the explanation. I guess with a sandwich case the keys are 'floating' of sorts then.

Does anyone have a time machine so that I can travel a few weeks into the future and build my M65-A? The hype I feel is almost too much to handle at this point.

I suppose a genie in a lamp would suffice if no one has a time machine.
Maybe they're waiting for gasmasks and latex to get sexy again.

C-can I also get a timemachine while we are at it?
Just finished burying our dog :'(.
She was misdiagnosed and ended up having adrenal gland cancer which spread out to the kidneys, heart, liver and a part of the nose.
If they realized that the first time we brought her to the vet for a check up because she wasn't feeling well they could have cured her pretty easily. But it's easy to put someone else at fault. I guess...

Ah well, she had an awesome life for almost 12 years, so that's something.

Probably a long time. They opened r1 to everyone instead of limiting it as originally planned, and stated that meant r2 wouldn't happen for some time. There were over 400 orders, so if you really want one, there's a good chance you'll find one second hand.

Still deciding which switch! :) can anyone recommend where to get a good variety of colors of the 1.8mm LED?

(Attachment Link)
I bought my leds at lighthouseleds.com they arrived in a couple days.  Ordering leds off of eBay from China always proved to be a coin flip on the brightness of them

If it is a 4 pin led then the pcb would have to support this and I don't think it does.

Still deciding which switch! :) can anyone recommend where to get a good variety of colors of the 1.8mm LED?

I bought my leds at lighthouseleds.com they arrived in a couple days.  Ordering leds off of eBay from China always proved to be a coin flip on the brightness of them

Ordering too lol. Wondering if it's possible to use one of those RGB leds?
If it is a 4 pin led then the pcb would have to support this and I don't think it does.

Aww I see. Getting those SIP sockets so I can change them afterwards i guess.

As this GB is over now, I was curious what kind of time frame there might be before we see another... or is that unlikely?

Jchan stated there will be extras once the GB is all shipped out.

Where will those extras appear? Is there a waiting list or will it be first come first served?

FCFS and after the GB has shipped.

Will any available be announced in this thread then? Is this where I should keep an eye out?

I think he'll announce it here, probably by around May given the current timeframe.
