Most makers don't use so-called "prototyping services," but instead have prototypes made with the factory they do their production runs with. The prototypes are more expensive, but factories don't require a deposit for the full run in order to make a one-off.

Get in touch with some makers who have run GBs out of Asia, I'm sure at least one of them is willing to put you in touch with a reputable factory.

That hasn't been my experience, but you should still try.

Is it possible? I think some makers will keep the factory as their secret?
