Anyone have any experience with https://dactyl.bigcartel.com, which sells very cheap fully assembled dactyl manuforms?

Damn that really is cheap. I'd reach out to the maker to get a better feel for what they're offering (switch selection, how long it takes for them to build one, etc).

They mention their social media on the store page, it looks like they've built several https://www.instagram.com/rickongreasy****/

It really is cheap!

I'm talking to them by email.  They're booked up until February, but they're replying to email fast, which is a good sign.  I'm going to buy from them unless I hear any bad news very soon.

I'm going to order one.  There's a big waiting time, but I'll try to post here when it arrives.  Feel free to nag me!

I took the plunge and ordered one of these.

It arrived more quickly than expected.

The construction seems (to my inexpert eye) to be excellent, except that one RJ9 socket is slightly chipped but still completely functional.

To my surprise, it has no bottom - the insides would be exposed to dust if it weren't sitting flush on a desk.  I'm not sure whether this is a problem or not.

Overall, I'm very happy!
