I'm afraid this set might have taken too long to get into existence. A lot of the initial Diablo hype has died down, so a lot of need/want has dissipated with that.
I would love to be proven wrong though.
That is also a contributing factor, I am sure, but it's far from the only reason.

That's really a let down. The one thing which was a dealbreaker about the Rag set was the lack of contrast between the black keys and the red legends. I hope you guys will switch to a brighter red from the prototype, but if not I might have to reconsider.

I'm pretty sure that they are the same colors. What you're seeing is that colors appear different to your eyes when they are surrounded by other colors.

WASD's ISO keyboard also has the short left shift. If for some reason your's is the long one, you'd just use the shift from the base kit.Oh sorry, my fault. I meant the right shift-key.

Having a rough estimate about how much sets will be bought helps a lot, and that way you are sure to not miss out.

It is definitely possible. But we definitely will be keeping the stepped caps we have at the moment.
I'll have a talk over with who's in charge of the center stepped caps (boiler?) and Jung on this. For now, can I get some show of love for this?

Lol it does look like my set with way more badass legends. Super sick guys, can't wait. As for 104 kits being unpopular, I really noticed that on my last group buy, only like 1/4 of the orders bought them. TKL is really becoming the standard. Oh well on the lack of orders, just means more leftovers for sale once everyone figures out that this is the best set produced in years.

I'm pretty sure most of us saying they look similar took that into consideration. The red certainly does look more neon than it should. My point was that regardless its still a red on a black/dark grey. Its going to look similar to mine no matter what, but what defines them is the custom legends, which will be badass no matter what the precise colors are. If I had known this was coming I may not have done mine, but in the end I'm glad I did because delivery on these keys is going to be half a year after mine, I got to do mine my way, and they are quite different in the end.

I have a question about the ISO kit. Are the shift keys the only ones with symbols on it like in the picture? Are the 3 normal sized keys and the enter really blank?

Hey that Grey is nice. I'm just a sucker for Grey keys so stick with the colour and this keyset will be a winner. Just make sure the Red REALLY stands out, which I think it will. Damn, this will be one unique bunch of keys set out on ...........anything. 8)

If Paypal is being difficult on anything, maybe it's due to the fact that they are dealing with "Foreign Clients" hence it may be only possible to sell the key-caps to CONUS customers only. Don't get all mad, because it may be the single sticking point when dealing with Paypal. Shipping is a huge problem that can easily be alleviated by ONLY sending every Key-cap to US citizens. That way there will be no freezing of account's due to time barriers within Paypal.

The plan is around December 1st. Hopefully we can execute it. The only thing that will stop us is money collection. Once money order is in, then we should be all good to go.

I'm in Irvine, don't travel north of long beach most of the time. If it's going to save money or weeks of time I can pick up my set somewhere. Don't mind waiting however if it's not going to be a huge difference time wise.

Please keep in mind my statement was a generalize statement and not a reply to your post or focus directly to you nor do I want to cause you any distress.
As you posted your interest before I made my small request, I had no intention to take way or erase your words here. I merely wish other late comers would halt there statement how the desire their own Sanctuary Keycap set until the keycaps in question becomes available on Keyboard story or at least the vast majority of those who already ordered received there keycaps.
Here is a quick story: you are patiently waiting in line for lets for argument sake say The New Samsung Galaxy S IV Phone (or insert what ever item that you think might be "buzz worthy"). The Line is quite long and you been waiting all day, also everyone in line prepaid for there items months in advance. Now as you wait in line dozens of people who just now hearing about the Galaxy S IV wants one, these new people are talking about it loudly and does not realize there is a line there. These new folk start knocking on the door of the store asking about the new phone asking when they can buy the new phone disregarding the people who is waiting in line.
Now many of the people who already paid for the keycap set been waiting for quite some time. Most of us (including myself) shown interest before Game Stop was taking preorders for Diablo III. I can understand like everyone else, we are all excited about our new stuff that we are waiting anxiously on. So please understand when I ask to hold 'off talk about leftovers' as it is a disservice to those who already ordered.

Approx 131 orders was made, of those orders you have both national and international shipping. On top of that some ordered just the base kit while others got ether the optional ISO Kit, the Num pad kit or the Gamer Kit on top of the base kit. I myself ordered the base Kit, Num pad kit and the gamer kit. Knowing the key caps are not preorganized, that Sherry had to first sort though bags of individual key caps of some 150 or more of key caps per Bag. bags that had just one each character, like Q, E, W, A, S, D, Caps Locks and so on not to mention the additional add on kits. Then he had to make sure each of those 131 people got what kits they ordered at the amount they specify, packaged and then sent. I am sure Sherry took multiple trips to the post office, and for each international package he had to fill out forms for customs.
Don't get me mistaken here, I am in the US (just like Orange Jewce) and still waiting for my key caps. I already got my order of RGB modifier keys from originativeco.com, I foolishly though I get both orders at the same time.
Obviously I was mistaken.
I know Sherryton is saving each of us a few bucks by sorting them himself but it's been 50 days since he received the keycaps from SP. I certainly hope these get shipped out soon.

Based on the google docs, you are the 51 on the list and Inochi is 30s something. So that makes sense. It will take a while for all you guys to receive the set.

All we could know, Sherry is going down the list with everyone name (on the shipping addresses/real name) alphabetically, or whose closer to his him in Cali or what ever works for him.
We should all try to be more patience as Sherry might have his hands full with this Group buy as it is, and his site acting up. He did have a printer which he was doing is mailing labels died and had to get a new printer.

Yeah, I guess Dan was a special case. He got the springs and stickers before anyone else could, also.Supposedly he got his first because of his self imposed ban, not really sure why that makes it necessary though. Not like his address was going to change or being forced out of a shipping area or anything.

Sorry for the past week. I was very busy, and I had undergone many family problems. In the past week, I had a meeting with some keycap businesses, picked up boxes from uline, and talked to some manufacturers. Many good things coming soon. Pushing all international shipment this week. I am sorry for the delay, but the boxes was needed. Priority mail was overpriced, and the prices are only increasing.
Remember, I am only one person! I have to get friends (and family) to help set up the packages.
Orange Dolch will release on Monday. PBT Dye Sublimation RGB with Esc will release this week. Dolch will release in another 2-3+ weeks.
Guys I understand your frustration, we've all been waiting a long time, but that's a little rude. I'm not saying you shouldn't express your discontent, but you could at least try to be civil about it. Hurting his feelings isn't going to make him move any faster.

All keysets are going out in the next 2 weeks. I might have to change all International orders to First Class because of the increase in shipping. If you guys want a small flat rate, then please also shoot me a PM!
To give an update from a "customer", my keycaps came in earlier this week. I'm in the US though, maybe the delay is with international orders? I know international prices went up not too long ago, maybe that's playing into the delay? I received an email a couple days before they shipped, so that's something to look out for I suppose.

If international shipping has increased I wouldn't be opposed to paying more. The idea of a GB in a community is that the participants share part of the associated risk ( at least I would interpret it like this) as opposed to a business where the price is increased in order to cover the risks. Either way communication would resolve a lot of the anger issues. Posting updates which ignore the questions raised here does the opposite (correct me if I am wrong but he has updated his general vendor thread right?).
Part of what pisses me off is that we agreed to share the risks of a GB and pay up front and are rewarded with service which is worse then the service of those buying the leftovers without explanation as to why.

Probably because someone purchased a ton of stuff so why wouldn't you include their entire order when they purchase something. Honestly though he should have finished all the sanctuary shipping before launching originative. He sat on enough stock of everything for long enough a little more time wouldn't hurt. I love ya dan, but you're wrong on the "huge" order thing. I know at least one person who didn't order much else besides the sanc set leftover and they got it within the week they ordered. So your theory is just speculation. I'd much rather have it straight from the horse's mouth :-/
I do agree he tried to do way too many things at once. And you've only convinced me further he's simply a bad businessman and that I should never deal with him again.

That's so messed up. So what is everyone planning to do? If this doesn't get resolve in a timely manner which hasn't seem to be I'm gonna call PayPal and get it refunded. And if we all do that then sherry will get stuck with 472892 sets. Maybe that'll make him rethink his priorities.. This is just getting outta control =\

Yeah, I figured there was a small window (in comparison to length of time it seems to take to distribute these) to file.
It's too late to get refunds, but if enough people dispute it, PayPal still investigates it and potentially freezes his account. I'm not disputing it or anything, just saying. An update would be nice indeed..isn't it already frozen, because he did gift payments with a business account

...and I'm glad that I decided to sign up for some other GBs, also, knowing that they would likely have some of the same problems. Our lengthy wait is [eventually] rewarded by some awesome keycaps. :D Think about the keycaps, not about the possible issues and these GBs will tend to be the most successful, IMHO.
I was trying to just show a little optimism, OJ, but I agree with your every word and thank you for spelling out in clear terms what is and is not to be expected in a GB. Well said. I will certainly also be voting with my wallet in the future.
Perhaps a "Hall of Fame/Shame" forum area would be helpful for new members to quickly get a clear idea of who they can and cannot trust. I've seen areas like that be very effective in other forumns. Just a thought.

I just got a shipping notification from Originative. I haven't ordered anything from their site...so it looks like another round of Sanctuary caps are getting shipped out?
I was kinda ticked off at all the cynicism at first, but at this point I'm with all of you. If he told us that it was gonna be another two months because of some odd reason then I'd be fine, the problem is that he didn't tell us. I remember hearing that these would be shipped out the first two weeks of December. Yup, that happened. Now he tells someone off geekhack that they're all gonna be shipped out by Friday, yet many of us (including me) are left without an email. If I do not get a reply within 2 days about it, then I will just ship the packages. If you reply, then I will cancel the shipping label. When I confirm your new shipping address, then I will print another shipping label which will be shipped right away.

But I think your opinion is biased in that regard, because I feel you didn't want to receive the set at all being that you didn't even try to get into the group buy. No sense blaming the entire community on one person's failure. Many of us have gotten plenty of good caps through the site.

still no excuse, the lack of communication has been the big issue, he could have easily said it had gone up and people would have paid the extra. the big kick in the nuts is he has been selling these keys on his website for ages now and it seems they get priority over the ones that were purchased in this GB. its just an absolute joke and a piss poor way to run a business.

I got my notification march 25 and on the 27th it was processed in LA so he seems to ship at least some in close proximity to the notification. But this is still sucks imho. He has been MIA for what? a month? You can't tell me that in a month he didn't find 5 minutes to post a general announcement about his absence. I think most people would understand if he said he has personal or professional time constraints and can't deal with the huge amount of pms and posts atm.

I've grown up with Diablo I II and III, and when I first saw the prototype for these keys I thought they looked AWESOME and I'm really glad, despite how long, that they now grace my keyboard looking JUST AS AWESOME. so in a sea of hate, just letting you know there is still some appreciation :)
oh and if this helps anyone, from Perth Australia, received an email from Originative with a mailing date of 25 March and received keys 10 April.
So the truth is, no matter what problems happened here, this set is just amazing. Seeing them in pictures just doesn't do them as much justice as having them in your hand.

Got a shipping notice today and thought it was my sanctuary set but it was my phantom pcb notice. Haha
What about the fact that the NA customers have consistently been left high and dry with regards to this gb? How can SK have received all their sets, including a separate dye-sub run of it, literally months before us when the sets were manufactured in the U.S.? My mind is so boggled.

Confirmed my set showed up on friday but i was off sick so didnt get to crack them open till today
Slowly moving them onto my Filco
Has been a bit of a slog to get them ... will see how they fit and feel

I know mine was RA, which is the brightest red SP has. If its anything less, the contrast would be even less. I was happy with how Ragnarok turned out, but I was hoping the Cherry legends would be done if there ever is a round 2 of it because it'd be a bit more bold and thus more noticeable.
Also Missalaire, that's impossible... you can't dyesub on black.
So much animosity here. Is there any way we can still get this set elsewhere?

oh and if this helps anyone, from Perth Australia, received an email from Originative with a mailing date of 25 March and received keys 10 April.
So I finally received a email back from Sherry and he said that "If we have not shipped the items yet, then it is because we are awaiting shipment from South Korea for the rest of the Sanctuary sets."
Note: I have no received a label yet.
I don't understand why they are waiting for shipment from Korea? I thought this was done through SP..

All these troubles my ass wasn't he taking a fcking vacatation? Its Been a fcking month since he printed my label, he could have trained a bloody monkey to stick it on the package and drop it in a PO box.

Yeah...I don't think this thread is the place for the whole GMK thing, but it's pretty obvious to me that there's a LOT more to what's going on there than what has been said.
Regardless, I'm with you rayuki, and will continue to advocate that nobody buy anything from this shady character going forward. You have seen how he runs his own business and GBs, and that should be enough to convince you.
I can't wait to just get the product I paid for and be done with this crap.

The only thing I don't like about it is the clusters above the arrows have regular fonts. Imsto's sets are the correct font iirc.

I believe SP said they could not produce exocet versions of those keys.
