Title: UNICOMP spacesaver: Keys are not working
Post by: morpheus on Wed, 16 September 2020, 22:00:21
Help!

After having stored my Unicomp spacesaver for a while due to non-use, I tried using it again and now several keys do not work.
Specifically, the keys, M, X, Z, the numbers 1, 0 on the numberpad.

Any advice on how to fix this?

Thanks!

could be oxidation in the membrane if it was stored in a humid place, it would be dead rivets or misplaced springs/hammers if the dead keys sounds different.
for the 1st one, you will need new membranes from unicomp i think, but if it misplaced springs you may be able to move them around back in their right place by just removing the key and putting it back, if it is rivets then bolt/screw mod it is.
