Best value for money USB numpad?
« on: Wed, 14 May 2014, 18:35:32 »
Hey guys,

I'm on a macbook with a TKL keyboard and mouse setup and it just dawned on me that I can get a numpad and keep it to the right side of the mouse, to get back the number block that I've been missing. Would you be so kind as to recommend something that is of good quality? I wouldn't want to have to end up with a Trust numpad ;)
Topre RealForce 88 UB. Previously: Filco Ninja Majestouch 2 (brown) + CM Storm Quickfire TK (brown)

Kinesis makes a couple. One with mech switches, another with their Freestyle-type membrane switches

I am in the market for a numpad myself. Beside second hand Goldtouch and Genovation on ebay, next cheapest would be Adesso one on Amazon, then Keycool, leopold, and Filco in that order. If you are after value, 23UB probably won't suit. But then again, value is in the eye of the beholder.

Not sure if the this is the best subforum for this question.  I would recommend posting in the "keyboards" subforum
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

Numpad galore @ DT

That may or may not be available before the end of 2014.
