Hello, friends of geekhack.

  Please let me introduce our first switch product: Wild Switch.

  Wild switches are inspired by the GMK Wild, a keyset designed by one of our team members, TD Lemon 1900.

  Wild switches shares the same color with GMK Wild, and will provide two color options:
  • 42g with creamy top and green stem ;
  • 55g with green top and creamy stem;

  Both are linear switches.

  The Wild switch is manufactured by TTC, and will use their latest switch structure, same as the TTC gold pink switch. The gold pink switch has won a very good reputation in China. They are smooth and stable. TTC OEM switches for many large companies for several years. We are confident in their timeliness and quality.

  To get better typing feelings, we gonna use a spring structure that has recently become popular in the community. A golden spring with a closed coil in the middle. It will make the actuation weight of the switch become light and soft, but the rebound force is still very strong. We were fascinated by the feeling after we tried it.

Detail:
  • TTC gold spring with a close ring in the middle
  • 5 pin bottom housing
  • Material: Stem-POM, Top housing-PC, Bottom housing - PA66(Nylon)

FFF switch was a personal project by FF.
He has designed many switches before he joined us. Such as FF switch(Gateron), F3 and F4 switch (JWK).

Got it. Any chance of stainless steel springs instead of gold plated? I've heard complaints that gold plated flake off over time.

There is plenty reason to be skeptical of TTC switches in general as it really wasn't until these last two or three switch releases with Gold Pinks, Blueish Whites, and Vaticans that they have gotten really good. I do challenge anyone to try these newer releases if they are skeptical though, as these are promising to be similar to the Gold Pinks which I was fairly surprised by.

Would be very interested to get to see these samples Matrix, the switch history from your group has been interesting thus far.

Oh wow I'm actually really excited to see these switches! I just tried the Moon Whites and they are really really good. Can you talk about whether these two switches will be tactile/linear and what the bump profile will be like compared to other TTC/other switches?

A new switch is always welcome as long as it brings something new.  Interested and will buy a few no matter what just to try them.
