So glad to see this back! I only got into the keycap game after the previous revision, and I've been bummed that I missed out. Save for some financial disaster, I'm in for alphas, mods, and accent mods at minimum! Thanks for doing MT3, as it's a profile I've been curious about!

1.25u on home row needed for the 40s kit, please!
the mold exists - mt3 Godspeed has it, mt3 serika has it, and the latest dev/tty had it too

I love Extended 2048 and MT3 is my favorite profile. I have dev/tty and godspeed which are awesome, but I just got Serika and the row 4 bottom row on ortho feels really bad in comparison to row 5.

Totally interested, any chance you can make row 5 bottom row happen?

I'm sorry to submit reply for old thread by mistake at the other day. I'm so happy about the IC open again!
Is there a possibility that legends with Katakana+Alphas will be implemented like the previous rounds?

I just want to say, MT3 Godspeed and MT3 /dev/tty did it right. MT3 Serika did not. The ortho bottom row should be R5, not R4. Please follow the good examples instead. Sales numbers on these kits reflected that.

I’m so glad they added R5 to MT3, surprised it’s not used here.

I really like the icons, it would be amazing to have these in R5 for a macro pad.

Another vote for Tori / Katanaka, it sold half the base kit (second most of all child kits) in the epbt run after all!

Consider adding the following keys:
  • Move R0 Delete from Numpad to Base, in order to support certain 75% layouts.
  • Add a second 1u Alt to Base and Accent Mods, in order to cover Mac bottom rows (2× 1.5u Cmd, 1u Alt required).
  • Add an F13 to Base.
  • Add a second B to Spacebars.
Compatibility looks fantastic otherwise.

Any chance of an R1 Pause/Break key in the numpad kit, to support full 1800 style layouts?

I'd also be interested in R5 spacebars - personally I use R4 mods with an R5 spacebar when using /dev/tty, but I may be the odd one here.

Drop's refusal to use regional proxies makes this a bit of a bummer for me, but I like MT3 and Extended 2048 a lot so I'll likely still join.

I know it's a long shot, but would you consider adding the following JIS keys to the international kit?  Since JIS has some keys in common with German layouts, the International kit already gets us part way there, but it would still need these keys to complete the set.

EDIT: I made the legends italic to match the keyset, but perhaps in the interests of clarity I shouldn't have; the legend paired with the ¥ yen mark is | (pipe), not / (forward slash)!

Although I have no issues with full R4 bottom row, I have to try it as soon as I get my /dev/tty sets.

Oh, another question - woulditmake sense to split the intl. kit - this gets a bit large .

As this is dye sub maybe smaller kits would be possible?

+1 totally in. This will be my light side (mac) keyboard for my dual boot hack. My win keyboard is BoB and this one will be white on silver, so totally excited for this.

Two quick notes-
  • Any chance you can add a 'clear' key for the numpad (from the extended kb ii)? Icon pref, but maybe text? Also, the icon enter key? See pics for reference
  • Any chance you can add extended Fkeys? F13-15, possibly to 19? I know the extended had up to F15, but the aluminum (A1243) had up to F19 over the numpad

I love this set and I'll definitely be picking up 2 or 3 kits. I second konstantin about the 1u Alt keys: please please add those keys 🙏. Keep up the great work!

Consider adding the following keys:
  • Move R0 Delete from Numpad to Base, in order to support certain 75% layouts.
  • Add a second 1u Alt to Base and Accent Mods, in order to cover Mac bottom rows (2× 1.5u Cmd, 1u Alt required).

are the nomad spacebars convex?

Edit: Nevermind. I guess just the 6.25 is.

Only 6u, 6.25u, and 7u keycaps are.

In Drop's MT3 /dev/tty2 GB discussion, matt3o said "if listed as 'spacebar' it's convex. At least that is how I requested them."

Here is Drop's picture of the MT3 /dev/tty2 Spacebar kits:

If convex isn't possible, please consider R5 (flat).  Not sure if upside-down R4 or R5 would be prefered.  If not too late, a survey might be helpful.

I really wish convex keycaps were always marked with a "c" in kit images to eliminate any confusion.  For example:

I guess MT3 isn’t flat enough for corner legends.

Gonna echo what others are saying about spacebars. The concave R4 spacebars feel atrocious and it would be greatly appreciated if you could explore other alternatives.

Please add 2x 1.25u and 2x 1.5u R5 keys in the ergo set for keyboards like sol/sol2/pan layouts

and

mt3 /dev/tty added those in the last drop.

Finally registered here just to express my interest in this!

But as I mentioned briefly on biip’s Discord server, I'd really want to vouch my support for katakana alphas, if at all possible. I understand biip’s dislike for dual legends in sculpted profiles, but even having only katakana legends (with no regular letters, that is, single legends, KAT Milkshake style) would be more than fine.

At the same time, if katakana legends were to happen, I'd kindly ask for trying a different font than on the original ePBT Extended 2048 set. While it certainly was aesthetically pleasing (as anything that touches biip’s hands!), it seemed to be sometimes quite far from how the kanas should correctly look like.
