Trimmed the "eyebrow" on my model F XT

While curing paints on my xt's case some major accident happened I had to start over so I decided to change the look a little bit while working on it. I might do some work on the "ear" too at later point. Now waiting for the XT-USB converter to arrive.

Are the "ears" the leg/incline adjuster knobs?

I've always thought making the "ears" completely flat would be a good look for an F.

I kind of like the pencil tray but the ears can definitely go.

I think I'll get rid of the riser feet too on my next restoration, lot of work to fill it. :)

I've polished the matte coat with polishing paste, need to prep it better next time for better result.

I modded my XT a bit further, maybe too much. Unfortunately the filler I used shrunken after most work were done(after a day of curing after several refilling and sanding), too tired to rework therefore it will be as it is for now.

I was thinking you were going to pull the feet, snip the ears, then smooth out that part of the foot so you still had the circle showing in the case.  But this approach works too.

I think it looks good.
