SAKABATO

The Sakabatō (逆刃刀, Reverse-Blade Sword) is the last of the strange swords forged by master swordsmith Arai Shakkū. The Sakabatō is designed as a simple katana with its blade forged on the opposite side than normal, making it a sword ill-fit for killing. Its fittings are humble and simple, but vary upon depictions throughout. We want to make products with the most perfect angles as the master swordsmith did.
So CB:87//Sakabatō was born.

Starting and concluding a GB this month without having a prototype in hand is somewhat concerning.

Watching. Would be nice to see a complete build and sound test with the prototype before a GB. Do you and your team have experience with building keyboards or the like?

Not sure if it’s the same manufacturer, but I’ve got a numpad from them which was exactly as described, great ano, and shipped pretty fast despite being run in the middle of Covid. It even has its own little weight.

Thanks for reply. It’s me from C21. Hope you like it and this product, too.

    Will the PCB run QMK?
No, it won’t. PCB are self-developed and easy to use.  We will update specific information in the upcoming updates.

I really like the look of this board. I wish the PCB was qmk compatible.  I suppose it's possible that the case is compatible with other PCBs that do support QMK like the H87.  USB port and layout look standard.  I don't need Bluetooth support.

I was wondering if what looks like the antennae cut out actually connects to a gap I cant see. My only comparison is the Percent VOlt where there was a back piece that was accent plastic for bluetooth transmission.

Currently the product is only supporting our PCB. It includes a PCB and a daughter USB-C. You can plug in and use it normally or use bluetooth if you want.

How will bluetooth work if the whole case is made of metal?

I will post an explaination of bluetooth transmission shortly. Thanks for asking.

The design of this board is so slick, especially that Founders Edition.

I was curious about how the GB would be handled. Looking back at the C21 numpad thread, the GB was done solely on reddit (the GeekHack GB link in the IC doesn't go anywhere). Though it is nice to see a buyer from that GB comment in here that they received their product. Having not participated in a GB yet it would be nice to see it handled through a vendor of some sort, but my guess is orders were done through the google form and paypal?

Secondly, is the price of shipping included in the price quotes? or will that be a separate cost? And do you think there would eventually be multiple runs of this should the interest be there?

    Thanks for asking.

All orders were done through the google form and paypal. Including refund request of some people.
Secondly, GB Geekhack was not approved (Could it be that I am not trusted?). And I decided to open it on reddit as usual. We will try to contact some vendors but currently we are capable of processing orders.

Customers in the US, UK and some country in EU have received the product, except for a few cases of loss and orders in other areas are increasing shipping prices beyond the permissible level so we are waiting for more.

And the shipping cost are calculating because of covid-19 and it not included in the cost of any version. I have contacted all customers and have agreed on certain options so I think basically the C21 GB has almost finished. So this GB is the only one that is happening. Hope you understand that.

If you could, can you post some pictures of this product? Having done a successful GB but no vendor for his second (although it seems him and his team are capable of handling it) seems off. Being new to the scene, i'm not sure if this is normal or not.
