Hi, new here, and pretty new to the world, no, universe of mechanical keyboards. I have:
Main rig - Topre Realforce 103UB-55G
2nd Rig - Filco Majestouch NINJA Black (white case)
3rd Rig - CM Storm Trigger Green
I had changed the keyboard on my 2nd rig. I had gotten a Ducky DK9008 Cherry Blue in preparation of the Miami key set I'd gotten a friend to order for me, before I'd joined the excellent forum, so I painted it white. While awaiting the arrival of the key caps, I decided to use my spare Ducky white on white key caps just so that I can use the keyboard. The Filco has gone back into its box and is with the rest of my collection. It looks too much like a Mac KB for my liking, but heck, I'm learning to like the look.

Noppoo Choc Mini (MX Red, black, Cherry keycaps) at my standing setup
thinkpad keyboard everywhere else

I have to force myself to finish my ergodox and clean the endurapro that lies in the closet.

Typing this on my first Model M (clunk), which I just finished putting back together after initial cleaning. I suspect it will become my new home keyboard since my co-workers already think MX Blues are too loud. I may be switching out the Ducky 9008 with Reds I use at work for the WASD with Browns that was my home keyboard until today. Just for fun. I swap keyboards around a lot.

Clunk.

Call me mad, but I got a BNIB QFR for free so I sold my Filco. Haven't regretted it so far and got more for the Filco than what the QFR would've sold for :)

I switch off using my DK9008G2 PRO PBT Grey keycaps with cherry mx clear or my Ducky Shine II TKL with cherry mx blue.

I recently got that exact DK9008G2, it is pretty nice.

I've basically found my "Topre"--my Master Switch--in Jailhouse Blues.  Nothing else will do now.  Browns are no longer my favorite, ergo-Clears no longer interest me.  Looks like I should add one of them to the Classifieds now.  Kinda sad, but on the other hand whenever I type on my modified Blues, I get my smile back on :)

Took the keycaps off, and apparently the "\" key isn't clear like advertized, but is brown.  :'(

Just hit my 4 year anniversary with my Kinesis Advantage (also happens to be the first mechanical keyboard I ever laid my fingers on).

It was an office hand-me-down, is in dire need of a cleaning and new set of pads.

Back to Filco with MX Blues. They feel and sound nowhere as nice as BS but I am surprisingly much faster on those! I don't know if it's the lighter force required or the high pitched clicks but my WPM goes up from 85-95 to 95-105.
Of course HHKB is still my travel keyboard, although I haven't travelled much recently.

Work:   Custom Poker with MX Blues, 50a O-Rings, low profile aluminum case and iMav Plate, POM Alphas and Ivan's Purple Mods.

Home:   Custom QFR with MX Blues, pink case, and R4 Spherical Keycaps (Space Cadet Style)

those are the ones i will use today. i have many more but i go through phases.   my next major purchase will be a RealForce 87u 55g. the only reason why i dont own one now is that there is a total lack of custom caps options for topre.  but i would love to replace my QFR with a realforce for my SC2 addiction...

Poker 2 (Browns) - Titanium Spacebar
nice spacebar but i want cap info! especially from you !3oilermaker! i know you have the dopest caps in town.

I totally feel you about the SteelSeries 7G. Most probably the most gorgeous keyboard i've ever come to use in my entire life so far. The build quality is very good for a popular gaming brand, and what i really like is both headset 3.5 jacks so i can freely walk away from my desk since the wires start at the keyboard.

I can also plug my Poker II into the SteelSeries USB... Keyboardception.

Right now I'm using a Realforce 88UB (it's just a black on black ISO FR version of the Realforce 87).

Just before I was using a slightly modded KBT Pure Pro (not to be confused with a KBT Pure) with greased browns, that I'm going to use again later because I have managed to make it more silent than the Realforce. Its silence and backlighting are needed because my girlfriend and our 2 years old son will be sleeping nearby.

Right now I'm using a Gateway2000 rubber dome keyboard.

They're nice - they have MX-compatible keycaps (mostly).
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

C'est du AZERTY de France, et c'est l'occasion pour moi de te demander si vous utilisez le même au Canada (ou plus précisément au Quebec où tu dois être, je suppose).

Let me translate this to English so everybody can follow:

Oh man... who would have thought I would love stock Clears as much as I'm loving them right now!  Traded with someone for a Ducky Shine II with MX Clears for my OH and have been testing out the keyboard for the past hour.  I love it!  It's a wonderful switch.

I actually put 62g springs into Clears for my Filco and did not really like the result.  I was sure that stock Clears would be far too heavy for me.  But actually they feel just right, whereas 62g "ergo-Clears" feel too heavy!!  Why?  Because ergo-Clears are kind of "wobbly"... the only way I can summarize the feeling.  The long bump feels shaky and awkward. Stock clears are cushiony and feel very solid, and I only need to touch-type to the actuation point without any accidental bottoming out.  The result is cushiony smooth and very pleasant.  And this is coming from someone who loves light switches like Browns.

Anyway, I gave away my stock Clear springs, so I'll be putting in vintage Black springs into my Filco's Clears now!  Good thing those springs should be close enough according to a recent spring stiffness analysis :D

Sounds like a Topre switch to me. I've never used a MX clear switch, but that's pretty much what my Topre 55g uniform feels like. That's what I'm typing on right now. :)

I've yet to try Topre =/  Someday!  But in all honesty, I feel like my hands get more of a workout on lubed and stickered 62g ergo-Clears vs stock Clears.  I can't bottom out stock Clears, because I'm a soft touch-typist, so I definitely only go as far as the actuation point with most fingers.  The end result feels like less overall exerted force.

Currently using a Thinkpad T410 keyboard. As far as laptop keyboards go it's pretty decent. However, compared to the 90s Thinkpads it isn't as great as you might like.
