What's the use of Fn+Q/W/E on RK 84

Hello everyone. I am currently using the RK 84 and based on what I have read, it seems you can pair it with a maximum of 3 devices. I am not really sure what does this mean. Does this mean that I can simultaneously change where it connects? For example, it is connected to my PC by Fn+Q. If I want to connect it to my iPad, can I just press Fn+W, so it would connect seamlessly? I have tried doing that but it seems to be not working. Thank you for answers.
