Well it's clear there are plenty of lurking reddit trolls here.

Well, there has been an influx of Redditors joining GH lately, they are not necessarily trolls.

Yeah not all of them but what kills me is the IDIOTS who post here all the time like they are hot stuff then bash geekhack on reddit...yeah...its not like we can't read all the stupid stuff that gets said.

I'm only familiar of Ripster through what's left of geekhack's archival posts nor do I browse that mechkb sub reddit. Although he may be very knowledgeable in this field, there were several references to his ornery context on the forums, more importantly, racism was mentioned multiple times. I have no tolerance or respect for racist individuals. Simply unacceptable.

Of course this is all speculation based on heresay but it seemed to be an overwhelming consensus.

Keyboard expert <> friendly, nice, non-emotionally challenged individual.  He's got a lot of keyboard knowledge... quite possibly the "#1 expert" right now.  Doesn't mean he's a great person to have to deal with.  :-)

i should say that i do think ripster is the #1 keyboard expert on the planet. i just dont like his attitude at all.

his keyboard science posts on reddit are often really cool. i really like when he tears things apart. with that said i downvote his comments whenever he talks trash about geekhack. i just dont understand why he continues to bring it up.

you guys must have really pissed him off. 

but my favorite keyboard experts are JD, mkawa, and Ivan. those guys know their **** and are nice. so i would much rather ask them for advice than ripster any day of the week.

The reasoning is understood. Apologies for my previous post. You see, my Vulcan blood line is nill--While I understand and accept logic my feel and intuition trump logic if necessary. This may cost me knowledge or a communication path but I accept the drawback.
