[ZorbCaps] Update thread - Sale #3 Teased
« on: Tue, 11 August 2015, 14:57:57 »
Hello!

Over the last couple of weeks I've been working on a project that I'm now very proud to present – my first artisan – The Templar.

The theme I've been going with is Medieval/ Fantasy, and I'm planning on releasing more caps in the same theme if this once is recieved well. The first sale will go live soon, and I will make another post announcing the exact date, as well as more details concerning price etc.
Every single cap will be hand made and painted by me, thus every cap will be unique to some extent. Please let me know what you think about the cap / theme overall, and feel free to come with help / suggestions!

Regards,

Zorb

Caps looks pretty damn good, really digging that aqua colored cap. Love the theme as well. Can't wait to hopefully get my hands on one.

Looks pretty cool  :thumb:

The bottom pic one especially looks like a bit of a finger with a ring, if that's what your going for then you achieved it, with aliens in the first pic lol
If that's not i'm sorry just first thing that I thought of when I saw it.

Haha, no problem at all! It is made with influence of an old templar helmet, but better. I could take some pictures from other angles if you'd be interested in seeing that! :)

Pretty sweet! Are these like handcrafted clay on top of keys, or resin on molds?

Resin in mold; all caps are made in one piece, with the helmet part of it painted in a black metal color!

These look great!

I hope the paint is tough enough to still look good after use as the bright colours beneath showing through would totally ruin the look.  I guess you've thought of that though as you've clearly been doing this a while, just keeping it quiet :))

Yes indeed! The cap is first base painted in black, and then painted metal on top. As long as you dont scratch the color, it will stay on the cap very long! :)

Now if the base was completely clear with a painted helmet, I would be all over that like a fat kid on a cupcake.

Any chance of buckling spring versions?

"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"
