4x12 Planck Qwerty + arrows + num - 40%
« on: Thu, 31 December 2015, 11:16:15 »
So I was wondering if I could manage to fit the 104 characters / functions of a standard US-Qwerty keyword in a 4x12 planck, about 40%... Plus have numbers in pad form and arrows in a usable fashion.

Here is the proposed layout :

4x12 Planck Qwerty style

no symbols version

The use of the 3 yellow buttons are as follows :
100 shift
010 ctrl
001 alt
110 win
101 hyper
011 alt gr
111 fn

Any thoughts ?
PS : I couldn't resist moving the M, but it gives a more coherent structure to the num pad part I believe.

Nice! I tried and made a different version of it. More hand separation, and use of Space, Shift, BackSpace and maybe even Enter (!) with  the thumb. Feel free to steal or ignore what you like.

Here is the permalink

Edit: of course my version is a little larger

Interesting  :thumb: , I'd do it like this to still work on a 4x12 planck and have my num pad.  8)
I refined the other caracter layouts aswell...
