I don't minding waiting as well since I don't have my stabs switches and springs yet either =) They will most likely arrive around early to mid October I'd hope =)

elton told me in PM that they're supposed to ship late september, so until then...

Aw, I'm actually a bit bummed now. Guess I can wait a couple more weeks.

Thanks for the update. I have been waiting I think for more than 5 or 6 months now, that includes rumours, product introduction and IC. I don't mind waiting for another month or two. lol

Not going to take another month or 2 for sure.  Most likely end of September.  The longest part and hardest part for them is doing the custom forms for shipment.  Since there are over 70 orders, it will take them some time, but if it is going to be later than the end of the month, I'd say a week later than that..

It makes sense considering these boards, it really isn't that much worse if we had to wait till a week into October. Thanks for the update Elton I'm sure everyone who is a part of this GB appreciates it.

I guess it depends on the person.  Assembling a board doesn't take too long, an hour - 2 at most. I had a board assembled by WFD and it took me 4 months to get my keyboard...never again and since then I learned to do it myself lol

I'm going to assemble mine myself. I was planning to practice my soldering skills on other projects before I would build my Viper. I don't want to ruin this beautiful piece.  :)) :))

To be fair, WFD dropped off the face of the earth for the most part, and experience with him does not reflect the experience you'll have with other builders...he's a terrible example of what to expect.

True.. Just any soldering skills I have is non-existant so I'd rather have a professional do it since this is a pretty expensive piece of hardware. My GON should be coming soon and that can stave off the wait for the duck assembly...what's another month or 2 for assembly right? (for the most part I hope) lol

I'm getting mine built by tjcaustin, and he also built my Duck Light Pad.

Great communication, fast assembly, and even faster shipping.
Totally recommend if you're 'Murican.

Getting mine done by dorkvader. It'll be my first time dealing with him or in general that has anything to do with assembling keyboards. Very prompt with replies and stayed on top of things in terms of answering questions/parts compatibility =)

If I let you change colours, others who are indecisive as well will ask me. How well will that go when the cases are being anodized already?

Douchebag? Seriously?

These are made to order. There aren't extras where I can trade your order with another colour...

I'm sorry for that, but the way you addressed me just rubbed me the wrong way. It was just an innocent request, a shot in the dark and you're telling me to "make up my mind already" when I've respectfully asked you only one time in the past.

You will need a viper design PCB because the blockers are solid and part of the case haha.

Unless you are considering chopping up the pcb yourself...

Yes, fill in the order form. You guys will be on the 2nd batch and will be shipped 2-3 weeks after the 1st batch that ordered earlier.

This won't affect anything

I assume the green marked fields in the order form seperate the first and second batch. Gh05tx is in the second batch for the Viper and Synjin is in the second batch for the Viper and in the first batch for the Eagle. How this will affect shipping I don't know.

Isn't that Red Alert?

The original Red Alert, yep.  That's the only round to feature those custom legends on backspace and other keys.

See the second round GB thread for info on both second and first round.

Klaxon was the third round, run most recently, by tjcaustin.

It's a fairly prevalent set, but still somewhat hard to come by, as most people don't let it go.
