Judging from the estimated ship date for the Amazing Chocolatier (Feb 6, 2017) you've got a long wait, assuming this is even the next SA profile set that Signature Plastics put into production.

Please make sure you add ISO UK set (edit: sorry I noticed its already there:)

If alphas are like those in Penumbra, which ones are they. Solarised or mega yellow ones?

Hi, I like this keycap set a lot. Great work. I hope it is making the GB stage soon.

Are the different kits in the OP already final?

If not, I have two suggestions:

1) Add the missing F5 to F8 caps to the alpha kit (in the same colour as the alphas).

2) Add another modifier kit in the same colour as the colour of the alpha kit. I for one would really enjoy a complete board in the yellowish/off white colour of the alpha kit.

Edit:

3) It's great that you offer a G80-1800 kit. I would be interested in one. However, your kit seems to be missing a 1.75u shift key and the buttom row with the 1u modifiers for the win-key version as well as the 6u/7u space bars?

I was momentarily excited there was a real update :|

Unfortunately, SP doesn't offer 6u SA profile spacebars and the yellow modifier kit probably wouldn't hit MOQ.  In addition, you would see there are multiple 1.75 shift keys, 7u spacebars, and OS keys among the planned kits if you clicked a few of the

Please consider an International kit. We've gotten proper international kits for almost all SA profile drops on Massdrop, the sad exception being Danger Zone and it would be a shame miss it for this set. The International Kit of Godspeed has easily reached MOQ after just a few days, will add great versatility to this set.

The look makes a good example of an authentic yellowed set with modern modifiers in dark beige. They look exactly as my old PC4 NCR set with my modern Cherry modifiers. I do not like it much though.

Has a groupbuy platform been decided on? I see the IC was through massdrop.

  • Penumbra SA Mark II please?
Sweet.
Model M Industrial, SSK, Unicomp 104, Code TKL MX Green, FC660M MX Green + Clear + White + Grey, FC660C Topre 45g, MagicForce 68 USB and Bluetooth, Whitefox, some optical switch 65% Bluetooth split spacebar thing ... wait, I think I need an intervention. Too late, there’s a couple of new Model Fs on the way.
Too much SA is never enough.

We just had a bad (good!) run of keycap drops too, with Godspeed, Grand Budapest, Borealis, Skidata, Nantucket, and more within the last couple months. Excruciating. I too was hoping for just Dasher in December! Having said that I'll absolutely sell a bunch of **** if I must to ensure I hop aboard the Retroblight Express.

I'm in!

The render on page one appears to show this keyset in a Unicomp 122-key case and a GH-122 PCB.  That case is ~20 bucks, and a small run of the PCBs would be around ~50 each.  120 switches are ~40 from sennin32.  With a Teensy and shipping, say $150 (without a plate) for the keyboard ready for keycaps.

I like keyboards and case modding.  Everything about a computer should be silent -- except the KEYBOARD!

Could the Unicomp 122 actually be a case option for a GH-122?

Yup.  The PCB was designed to fit in that case.  The block spacing (0.34". 0.33", 0.33") matches.  It can't curve* but otherwise, yes.

In fact I will be posting some pics in the GH-122 Case thread this weekend.

{edit]
*Specifically, the GH-122 PCB cannot curve from top-to-bottom like an IBM F, M, or AT keyboard.  However, what it can do is be cut and bent to enable the upper bank(s) of switches to be angled towards the user as in the IBM/Unicomp case.  This is fully supported by the GH-122.2016 PCB.

Hi, I did not mean any offence! Is there anything I can give a hand with? I have a basic experience of 3d modelling/texturing and editing raster/vector images. If it's a matter of rendering stuff from more angles, tweaking colors/icons I could probably do some of that.
