I think that Asians and Jewish people are wonderful. They work hard, study hard, mind their own business; what's not to like?
But while I care about all people regardless of their ethnic origin, I know that there are other groups whose unfortunate circumstances, and their cultural heritage, have led to some of their members misbehaving. I don't want to make people suffer who happen to be Muslims, but I don't want terrorist acts to happen. I don't want to make people suffer who happen to be black, but I don't want to be robbed at knifepoint. And so on.
So racial prejudice is going to be hard to eliminate as long as we have poverty and overcrowding. In a world filled with people of all colors, all languages, and all religions... who all lived in the suburbs with two-car garages, we would all get along.
When we have a crowded world where some people have to work long hours to keep themselves alive in a miserable existence, we will have crime; and the luckier ones will still, understandably, consider it to be an urgent concern to keep themselves safe from crime.
If people stopped having more kids than they could put through college, we wouldn't have this problem.
