Anyone know what keycap set would suit this?
« on: Tue, 28 February 2017, 09:43:34 »
I have been hunting around for some good keycap sets but i don't really know what to choose, the board they are for is the Carbon Fibre TKL kit from 1upkeyboards.

Some suggestions would be nice.

Almost any keyset will look good on a black keyboard.

GMK TA, Hyperfuse, Hydro, Carbon, Classic Beige

If you don't want cherry profile the same goes for SP sets, DSA, SA, and DCS will all look fine on a TKL.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

The dumber the reason the more it must be done

Thanks, so it is really a matter of if you like the look of it, not if it will suit.

Try dolch series (sky dolch/dolch/etc) too! add CMYW mods while you're at it  :thumb:

Dolch looks good on anything.

Or add your voice to the chorus asking for a Handarbeit run ;)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Part of me wants to see that set remade but the other part knows I won't even consider buying it.

Manly unicorn all the way!
