2U Shifts
« on: Fri, 19 June 2020, 17:57:00 »
I'm on my 3rd keyboard build so I'm still relatively new to this community. And I bought a plate on KBD Fans without realizing the plate had 2U shifts and now I can't find any keycap sets that have 2U left and right shifts. Do you guys have any recommendations for a set with 2U shifts?

2u shifts are a silly new idea that's great for people with only three fingers (anyone else can use an FN key to access arrow keys one handed - they've already moved from where they are on a standard board so learning is required)

It might be easier and cheaper to buy another plate than to wait for a group buy with the caps you need...

You can find blank 2u keys in quite a few places, depending on the keycap profile you've gone with. try aliexpress if it's not time sensitive and you're using OEM or DSA. Try wasdkeyboards, too, perhaps. I know they have a custom designer if you really need the text.
