a) did you clear all the previous orders or are these prices assuming the previous order volume?

b) are you going to wait until orders for all styles are in before collecting money and paying SP? or is this truly just a gb for the retro style?

c) end date?

It is all the same. I offer the more popular stuff here and the rest you must read the wiki and pricelist.

I will try to make the pricelist more readable.

I still have ROUND3/TKL in my order, I assume that it is US by default?

my head is spinning. i don't think the complexity being spread across 4 threads is a huge improvement to it being confined to one thread. the structure of the buy has to change or else it will crash and burn again.

Nothing got cleared!

Again, it is the same thing in a different package.

Becasue prcies go separate for different colors, there is no need to wait for other styels to close up. But I will try to order all of them (SPH, RETRO, ROUND3 and NOIR) at once.

Yes. It is the same as STANDARD but in RGBY colors.
You can also have RETRO/STDRGBYSYM to get the colored keys (and some more) with symbols.

I will post more layout graphics.

I still have some differently colored space bars in the price list:
RETRO/SPACE/GREY
RETRO/SPACE/RED
RETRO/SPACE/BLUE

Same for SPACEOLD

GREY is in the same color as the modifiers and red and blue will be the same as the text on RGB keys.

It is not separated. But I don't want to wait for too long to close this.

Just submit your order to 7bit_R4. I will take care of the other prices (especially language kits) over the week-end.

The next thread I will set up is for sphericals.

I do like the SYM kits, but RETRO's colors are still a turn off for me.  What "retro" keyboard are these trying to emulate?  I guess I'll wait to see how NOIR prices look, when the time comes.  C'mon ROUND3/SPH...

Originally, they wanted to do WYSE colors but something happened and retro was born.

Either SP messed up the colors or there was miscommunication between sp and OTD (I believe it was OTD)

I will have to change the graphic for TKLRGBY to show a red Caps and return.

The reason is quite simple:
Caps Lock can be used as Control (there is somewhere a Control for the caps position available) and Return must be red for symmetry!

Why so many options for a full set alone? :hurt:
I don't know what to get.

Can you please offer the 1.5x separately like Tsangan said?

I thought I remembered seeing a picture of an existing keyboard using this style in the huge round 4 thread but finding anything in there anymore is sort of impossible. Does anybody still have it or know where to get another picture? Would be nice to be able to see what it would look like.
Layout: Colemak
Fastest typing speed: 131 WPM on typeracer, 136 WPM on 10fastfingers.
Daily driver: Filco Tenkeyless MX Brown with ergonomically weighted, lubed springs.
Ergo keyboards: Truly Ergonomic, Kinesis Advantage, Ergodox

What's 7bits avatar from? That's what I was hoping for.

If I would like to order at set for my filco tkl SE layout, the order should look like this?

RETRO/TKL
RETRO/SE
RETRO/SPACE/GREY

price - 53$+23$+2$+shipping?
Does the SE kit include everything needed, like short left shift and iso enter? Every key would fit the board? I just want to make sure because I'm not too familiar with those groupbuys.

To 7bit, maybe I'm a little SLOW, but what is going to happen with all the orders in R4 Group Buy?

This thread is only to make it more simple for everyone.

You can read the first page:

It is all the same. I offer the more popular stuff here and the rest you must read the wiki and pricelist.

I will try to make the pricelist more readable.

RETRO/STANDARD125 is available.

Oh and I believe one of the RETRO/SYMRGBYTKL kits on the first page should be RETRO/SYMRGBYSTD. Just a heads up.

One fit all does not work.

If I offer only a STANDARD kit which fits almost everything, people complain that they have to buy more key caps they can't use than key caps they actually can use. Then I add TKL. But this is not enough!

Others want TKL for exotic layouts, TENKLESS is born.

Or those whoh just want them to fit on a G80-3000 with windows keys:
STANDARD125

And so on ....

(Not mentioning language specific layouts etc.)

BTW: I get now more orders, so the new concept is good.

..Sorry ya'll. Can someone explain to this baboon what all these acronyms/variations mean?

RETRO/TKL
RETRO/STANDARD (for 101/104 key Filco and Cherry keyboards)
RETRO/STANDARD125 (for 104 key Filco and Cherry keyboards; 1.25 units modifiers)
RETRO/STANDARD150 (for 101 key Filco and Cherry keyboards; 1.5 units modifiers)

What's a TKL, and what is the difference between regular standard from the 125, or 150?

I have a full keyboard.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯‎

Are these prices up to date?

TKL is tenkeyless. you don't want it.

125 has 1.25 width modifiers (ctrl, alt, windows, meta). you probably want this, depending on what board you have.
150 has 1.5 width modifiers. I think this is for layouts with no windows key to the right of the space bar.

Someone confirm?

TKL/TKEYLESS is for a keyboard with no numberpad. TKEYLESS contains more keys than TKL that allows adaptation to certain keyboards with different key sizes/stem locations. TKL will fit most of the new generic Ten Key Less keyboards.

Standard125 fits full layout keyboards with 1.25x modifiers (e.g. filco). This is most keyboards.
Standard150 is similar cocept with 1.50x modifiers.
Standard should fit all keyboards as it contains ALL the keys from the variations

Edit: Ninjaed

150 is 1.5x modifiers. 1x width win key (or none).
