It’s been a while since there was an update here…
A month ago, it was brought to my attention that although our first batch of samples were a fantastic match to the physical RAL colours, they do not accurately represent our kitting and board renders. Our orange and yellow samples are much warmer than what is shown online – which I fully agree with. First and foremost, this is an error from my end that should not have occurred and for that, I’d like to apologise.
To overcome this hurdle, together with our lead vendor, we made an adjustment from RAL to Pantone codes (1215U and 123U) but were unaware that GMK only accepted
coated Pantone codes. In light of that, we (again) made an adjustment to (Pantone 1215C and 137C) to more appropriately portray what we have shown in the renders and what everyone has purchased.
Shown here are the newly selected Pantone colours (1215C and 137C) with our first round of GMK RAL1017 and RAL 2000 samples.Plastic Pantone chips were then ordered and have now been shipped off to GMK for another round of colour matching.
Again, I’d like to apologise for this and thank everyone for their patience. I will provide another update when we receive our new samples.
