Not a commercial item. Made these as a "fan art" as im a fan of Fallout-series. They are for led backlit keyboards but look nice also without leds.

It amazes me, mostly around here, but elsewhere too, what some people are capable of making!
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Check out the new avatar

<-----------------------------------

This is one of three identical caps I ordered from WASD. The print quality on the other two is not quite as good as this one, so it'll be the one I'll use on my incoming KMAC. The other two will serve backup duty, including a PLU 87 that just arrived today.

Thanks! Now I just need to find a braided yellow cable...

I bet the Nuka Cola spacebar was done with a laser cutter, cut out the logo from both the spacebar and a piece of clear acrylic.
Just a guess.

That would have gone well on my Ducky.  Or my QFR before I swapped keycaps around.

So it seems more difficult to reproduce. But still would be interested on how this was done as I might get access to some tools via university.

No shame in buying.  When I really want something, I save up for it. :thumb:

I'd offer to trade but Bob isn't mine to trade...he is merely under my care and truly belongs to The Creator.

OT: 12 minutes 'til 5:thirsty here...

Vortex thick PBT from the group buy:

Sorry for the glare. Also, my keyboard isn't actually hourglass shaped – I'm not sure why the picture came out that way.
