@ rowdy: yes the blue looks dark, quite match with the round 3 tone keyset I think ^^
@ ShivaYash: those keycaps are from some group buy quite long ago, so you can try looking for them in the classifieds.

Just engaged hard-mode guys.

Leopold blank caps. As well as leopold pastel WASD (Not sure if want) and Reds.
All on the Leopold FC700R.

I'm half tempted to buy ANOTHER FC700R, I love this thing so much.

I'd get a white one and have a half grey/half white key-cap layout.

Thoughts?

Sorry for crappy pic.

EDIT: The F8 is red because it's the play/pause function

Very cool - from where?
I have the same board but its a UK layout - can I convert it to USA for better access to keycaps?
Thanks,

I got it from Keyboard King in Taiwan, ~$40USD a set. I would think the USA layout has more options for keycaps.

Sadly, they don't fit on an MX switch :(. People are saying that it is a M7 switch, but I don't know if there's any possibility of me using them for anything.

**EDIT: If anyone knows how to make these MX compatible, could you please send me a PM? ^.^

Dear all,

I first set of keycaps... may not be to everyone's taste but I like having the colour separation, characters in white, punctuation in black and modifiers in grey.

It was a second hand set, barely used which I found on eBay UK... it is difficult not to get 'carried away' with all the various group buys that are available on this wonderful site. For the moment I am limiting myself to hardware, keycaps will come once I have worn through this set. The stock FILCO ones still have life in them but I couldn't resist this bargain. I believe they were originally purchased from WASD in America.

They are therefore ABS... but it will be interesting to see how well the lighter colours wear compared to the FILCO ABS blacks.

Just got her, haha. Don't know what I should do for customization. I'm thinking blue enter key and red escape key GMK DS from elitekeyboards.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Yes, some EK RGB would make a nice addition to this :)
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Just got couple new cherry doubleshots from EK.  Also flipped my space bar and lubed stabilizers.
