All pictures here, including my first time solder attempt https://imgur.com/a/Fbx2wYV

I bought an untested AEK m0115 with orange alps, but it's not working with the converter I just built. Is it just my bad solder? I'm not sure at all. Could someone with good electronics experience look over the pictures and tell me? Also there seems to be coffee stains on the PCB itself so I'm not sure if that breaks it.

Using a cheap S-Video cable I found on eBay. It has four small wires inside each of which comprise of many tiny copper wires.

About the soldering, I just put the wires through the holes on my teensy, then added solder. If it called for the resistor I also added that into the hole and soldered it with the wire itself.
