Sheesh, from looking at the shoes on this thread, you guys are all such youngsters ;)

Not mine, but I have two pairs like these, in black and tan. Both are over a decade old and still going strong with the occasional resole. None of this ephemeral synthetic stuff for me*!

* For work/semi-dress shoes anyway. Trainers/gym shoes are another story.

I work in a factory. I can't wear nice dress shoes unfortunately so I don't have any pairs. Have to have steel toe or safety toe. I wear Timberland chukkas when I'm in my little office and Red Wing workboots when I'm out on the floor.

The youngsters are the ones who wear the size 4-7s that always seem to sell out way before my 9.5s :))

For awhile sz 9 was sample size. Meaning nice samples up for grab. But first to sell out at shops. It was a gift and a curse. Now 10 is the go to.

Not a huge fan of the green and the yellow tongue tag anyways.  Plus I already spent too much on the concepts collab a couple weeks ago.

Still cheaper than cars? And I don't want to think about what my wallet would be like if I didn't find this place. Getting me into so many diff (expensive) hobbies...Although knowing me, it would've gotten spent in the same way regardless lol.

Definitely cheaper than cars!  Most of my expensive hobbies I had before coming to GH, thankfully (I guess :-X), though my means have increased since joining, so spending definitely hasn't gone down since joining...

so, when I was looking on ebay, I thought I found a pair of 10.5. But it was just one of those dumb sellers that lists their size 10s under size 8-13 so the listing gets more views. But I didn't even check the title which actually did specify they were 10s.

I guess I'm going to nab a pair of Supra since you all seem to like them. Then I get a 2nd pair of something 50% off... will probably go with a more traditional pair of skate shoes from Adidas or something.

Although, as of right now my achilles is blown up like a golf ball from going too hard starting back out after 15 years.
My wife I a also push her button . But now she have her button push by a different men. So I buy a keyboard a mechanicale, she a reliable like a Fiat.

Always wanted a pair of Supra's but they're super pricey in Australia for the nice pairs. Just got an email about a 25% off sale at Converse but they're still sold out of the Chuck II's :(
It's a good width!  If it's half-width it's too narrow, and full-width is too wide.
