Bought these recently in Japan but man they hurt my feet and just won't seem to wear in - destroying my heels and toes everytime I wear them - anyone got any recommendations on what to do?

And nice patina finish, ok this is where people usually get it wrong
not all type of shoes would suit your feet, it really depends on the shape of your feet (it gets really hard especially if you have a flat feet like I do)
but if it's the heel and toes you're complaining , than it's the width of the shoes which is the issue
and it's a common issue with boots, get it to an expert shoe shop but it's best if you take it to the shop which carries the brand
They can basically expand it for you with their tools but it still hurts that means it's just the wrong size/width unfortunately
or
if this is your first boots and in regards to the shape of your feet, you might have a high heel feet which does not suit boots use
a derby would be your best bet or get a custom made one if you really want a boots (or get a button boots like this
