I'll snap a few shots when I get home from work today. Stuff like this get me so damn paranoid. Sick Moonrocks btw!

Also, thanks for not being a **** about it like today's kids do.

Sounds good to me mate, and no worries. I don't really mind fakes/reps either, just bothers me when people resell them as legit to make a profit.

Moonrocks imo has the best colourway so far among the releases.
Wish they could use that colour for some other models though (like the UB)

Thanks man! it really is an interesting colour, almost like it's completely desaturated green or something.

It really is. I could have actually queued in line for the moonrocks and actually get them 100%.
Too bad I wasn't free and had to travel a couple of hours just to reach the store though lol.
And yeah I've seen people advertising on eBay stating they're unauthorised/unofficial etc. They should just say that they're not legit. >:D
Though, I've seen some replicas which managed to replicated even the footlocker receipt... which further confuses people like me...  :-\

I agree, definitely chase the seller up - especially if he didn't mention anything of the 'unauthorised' nonsense before selling to you :(

Yeah, I'm sorting it out. I'm not really hurting for cash, and I didn't pay too much for them in the first place. Just sucks that this would be the second time -- and the second seller I've trusted for a while -- I've been bamboozled on a pair of Yeezys. The first was on the OG Blinks.

thanks Captain! a different way to 'tie' the shoes. turning the disc clockwise tightens it (it 'gathers' the black wires on the sides it seems)... and pulling the tab (on top of the disc) loosens it.

Haha maybe I should've been more specific. I love the technology but it looks so clunky. I don't get the appeal but I love the color on your pair :).

Anyone have an opinion on Le Coq Sportif stuff? I tried on a couple of random pairs in Australia and they felt seriously uncomfortable but maybe they're like Saucony? Where their Shadows and Jazz are super uncomfortable but somehow their Grid series (Grid 9000, 8000, SD) are super comfy.

I'm in the same boat, I own one pair of LCS Zeniths because my local store did their first collab on them, they have a really nice shape to them IMO but comfort isn't all that great as you mentioned. There are some different silhouettes that seem to have some sort of more interesting comfort setup, the R1000 pops into mind with its "Dynactif" cushioning. But I've never tried any of those on so I wouldn't know how good/bad it is.

People say that no, it's not OK now.
(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.

Docs have been made in China for over a decade. They're not bad, they're just not full grain high quality stitching that they used to be. They're still a decent boot for $120 but you dont know what you're missing until you get something of high quality in the $250+ range.

Their China stuff is crap.
Their India stuff is tits!
I have a set of 5 year old Anthony boots made in India. Still look dapper.
I recently got a pair of Doc Chelsea boots (forget the model name),also made in India, feels just as good as the Anthonys.

The downside is you need to check where they are made ><' (not sure if they've xferred everything to India).

Oh, and their made in UK stuff...well...the bees knees. But it's pricy compared to the "domestic" stuff.

Forgot about how fragile some of those are.

The strange thing is that I'd gone into REI years back and was fitted for an 11.  Tried and bought them.  They destroyed the bottom of my feet, particularly around and on the big toe.  Returned them and figured I was done with them.  Tried on a 10 recently and walked around in them for quite some time and was pleasantly surprised.

The problem is, they're expensive and I have a working pair of Teva Toachis and a backup pair of Nike sports sandals from ~5 or so years ago that I just wear in the back yard.  I really don't even need a pair of sports sandals right now but the REI 20% off plus some money still left from the dividend has me thinking, "well, that's not too bad at that price.... "
