OK. Stopped at the New Balance store and if you are a 4E width it is slim pickings. :(

I picked up some 990 V4's which are pretty nice.  However that was pretty much the only thing in the store I could buy.  Also worthy to note these 4E's feel a bit more snug than some older ones I have that were Chinese made.  The salesman told me that if I wanted more options that I can go the customization route but the 990 V3 (why would they still have these up when V4 is the current?) and 574 only have 2E at the widest.  May call NB on Tuesday to find out what's up with that.

My Kohls stocks a lot of NB's in 4E but the Made in China crap is only good enough for a few weeks of comfort.

Salesman tried to get me to buy some scotchguard to protect them from dirt/etc... Rip off?

Unless they're all white, I would't bother

The good stuff is Crep Protect anyways, that stuff is like magic. You can check Youtube to see some good demos of it

I purchased the blue ones.  The others were gray and black.  I'll take a look at that crep protect, thanks!

For those who are interested in other NB besides 'D' width that are made in the USA use this link:

http://www.newbalance.com/made-in-usa/men/?prefn1=width&prefv1=4E

For whatever reason the filter for width is on the main shoes page but not made in USA.  Adding the /?prefn1=width&prefv1=4E gives you the relevant listing.

Well any leather conditioner will do, but saphir is the high end shoe maintenance stuff and would definitely worth it for a pair of AE

WATER HOSE?

i got them from www.slumber.la.  they have yeezy and jordan themed slippers.  i saw these red october ones and had to have them haha.  they are pretty cool and comfy.

the only downside is that you can't really slide your feet in like regular slippers and have to pull them on, but they should be nice for lounging around on cold days.

Asics Gel Lite V in purple/teal/light grey.  I had to get an 11 in these things.  Super small fit.  I normally wear a 10 in Asics and 10.5 in Nike.  I tried on a 10.5 in these but it felt tiny in the toe area.

I buy New Balance and Red Wings because they are made in the USA and have a higher probability of being made well.  My experiences with Chinese/Vietnamese/Thai shoes is that they are fragile and will not stand up to someone with fat bastard specifications.

If Nike/Asics/etc opened up a factory in the states I'd give them my business.

I use woman's lingerie to clean my nice leather dress shoes. No joke - lace panties for buffing and initial spreading of the Kiwi(sounds so wrong out of context,) and then satin panties to smooth it all out and shine.

This practice actually started as an accident because panties were on sale at Fred Meyers right next to the microfiber cloth I was going to get. But it works, and it makes my fingers feel sexy while polishing :P

Do you guys have any good method of cleaning boost sole? I got some 'orange' color stain on my boost sole, not sure where they came from, probably from the red brick paved parking lot. I tried Jason Markk, kinda useless in this case.

I got some old school Adidas Jeans sneakers recently, in the aftermarket, since they were sold out in this nice worn out red color:

They should replace these blue ones, but I really try to keep them alive since they are the shoes I like most for a long time:
