Lets continue to explore the world around us through chemistry, biology, physics, history, and lore. With our next chapter we explore element 27, Cobalt. Cobalt is a truly remarkable element, which will be revealed as this Interest Check progresses. Again with my novelties kit, we get to have some fun, bringing seemingly totally unrelated items together under a single theme. I think this may be the most interesting group yet, so I look forward to your feedback and hope you have as much fun with them as I did seeing them come to life (and get a chance to win one-- read on)

This glass is coloured using Cobalt and that pop that you get in the glass is what I wanted to capture in the blue of the set

I would love to see a single novelty inspired by Co60, a radioactive isotope of Cobalt that used to be used for cancer treatment, and I believe is still used in some industrial imaging/measuring processes.

I love the grey and blue kit. Would love to see other options for accents though instead of just pink.
This is something i did consider in earlier design, but extra accents can add some challenges and cost, depending on the overall feedback, and amount of feedback though it is something I would totally consider. Please fill in the feedback form if you havent already

speaking of colors, you'd mentioned the silver color as RAL 7001. Have color standards for cobalt blue glass or the cobalt chloride hexahydrate? "No" or "somewhere around XX" is an fine answer, I'm just curious. Despite the name of RAL 5013 I sorta dont think that's the color of the renders...

I thought about it and think I am good to share, added colours to the colour inspiration section. Normal disclaimers apply, colours on a screen may not appear as they do IRL, I do have the pantone paper coated chips and if anything they may be slightly darker than the links and the renders show but very close IMO.

loving the blue and magenta, but the grey doesn't fit so well, white would be better IMO. Also not loving the novelties except the element table one. If it were up to me Id just add that one to base kit and get rid of novelties kit. Anyway good job overall.
Thanks for the feedback, some people seem to love the grey or at least enjoy that kit, maybe the Blue Glass Cobalt Base works better for you with the minimal amount of grey only on the legends.

The renderings look amazing! Both base kits look like good options as I need more saturated colors in my arsenal! I don't have a RAL deck or book but I do hope the colors are close to the renderings.

Unfortunately samples wont be possible before GB, however I am looking into our options for advanced colour matching so that we can ensure we achieve this look.

Not a a big fan of the cables, they look to be very high quality, but i would of preferred blue and pink instead of gray.
And that desk mat... that so called "desk mat"... is DOPE! I love it.

This makes my eyes go funny, it's such a bright color. I think the cobalt base with a matching keyboard color would look deadly. I will be watching this- with sunglasses on.

Yeah we are looking at an MOQ target of the same for both, and based on feedback the Grey alphas has been more popular but not overwhelmingly so. We are working through pricing now and as soon as I have that it will be shared.

I have not specifically called this out in the IC but these base kits are quite large and are intended to achieve a wide compatibility. We cover off all the standard layouts plus the addition of full Alice spaces and HHKB 1.5u Supers!

I just received a feedback form submission that made me realize I had not updated the base kits. One early suggested change was with the inclusion of the Extensions to remove the extra tab which was done, also note the Scroll Lock and PrtSc keys have been updated to Scroll and Print.Gmk dandy even has 2 bigger base kits than yours.
Also thanks to that submitter, I appreciate there feedback and agree with most of what they said.
