Keycap Blockers? Blank plates? What is it and how do i find them?
« on: Tue, 23 February 2016, 21:20:37 »
Hi! I am looking for someone who knows how to get the spacing plates for keyboards like on this lightsaver. I have no idea what to even call it! If anyone has any idea!

Thanks,

SirCheddar

The name I've always seen for those particular ones is "duck blockers," they were offered to people who got in on duck buys for like $3.50 USD apiece.  SP has ones which i assume are just plastic (http://pimpmykeyboard.com/switch-blocker-pack-of-10/).  Not sure if anyone else has done anything similar.

appreciate the quick response! wonder if i can find metal ones anywhere, as ducks look metal and I think hat would be more my style.

They were indeed metal, and were offered in the same colors as the cases

do you know the spacing options? I am trying to find either a 1.25, 1, or 1.5
