Would there be interest for a Cherry profile *thick* PBT spacebar?

I might be able to have it manufactured but the mold is expensive and to make it worth we need to make at least 2000-3000 of them, with a cost of about €9-10 each. Of course the more we produce the less they cost.

Would definitely be interested, that's a pretty ambitious MOQ, but I was really bummed on missing the group buy for GMK spacebars last year. Would there be an option for different colors, along with 7x unit spacebars?

7u is feasible but needs another GB

I would love special novelty dye subs on these. I feel like novelty space bars aren't done often enough.

Right, 7x is the one that needs produced. There are at least a few sources for 6.25 already but no one is making 7x (unless you are getting a custom order from Cherry on winkeyless models as it seems they still make them on request but it's like 10k keyboard LOL). I would get color match to BSP sets 'white', for other colors there is always dye.

It looks that the demand required is too steep for the number of GH members only. I would suggest to try an interest check at Massdrop instead, or at r/m, gh, dt, and massdrop and consolidate the demand maybe at the last one, or somehow to have the total numbers and verify if that justify the cost for a new mold. Maybe some vendor may pay part of it, if it may have the chance to keep it.

Deep down I suspect it is impossible, but I want 6x and would be happy to buy as many as 10 white PBT spacebars to contribute towards meeting MOQ. (No surprises here; I have Deck and TG3 keyboards.)

As for color, as an experienced dyer I very strongly suggest WHITE only because all other colors can be self dyed often with a high degree of professionalism.

Suppose you've got time to now design these Cherry PBT spacers so go to it.

Don't care what the colours will be because I know you'll choose the correct ones for sale due to your innate colour skills as a designer of worth.

All this new PBT space bar needs is the Matt3o signature like what those other no-name designers like Pierre Cardin, Yves Saint Laurent and that Giorgio Armani apply onto their products range.

You are the next Key-cap designer of great skill and worth, hence we all look forward to acquiring more of your pieces as time goes by.

There's now gateron spacebars that are PBT on chery profile.
Just need more color options for those.

They also have ISO Enter keys now - if not too much trouble, then I think it would be nice to have that too in the same order.
