Do you know what keycaps (how many of each kind) are in DCS Signature Plastics 104 ANSI set?

Can you clarify?

It's an ANSI 104 set, so it will have the quantity, sizes, and row profiles of caps as defined in the ANSI 104 standard.  Meaning 104 key caps.

Not sure why SP chose to use that particular keyboard in its sample photos.

OK, I do not know what kind of keycaps are in a standard 104 ANSI DCS keyboard.
Especially the things like:
  • How many 1x1 keys are there in the bottom row?
  • Do the bottom row keys use the same profile as the row just above it?
  • Does the top (F-key) row use the same profile as the row just below it?
So I cannot really count how many keys of each type the set contains.
The picture there sucks. And it is not a 104 ansi keyboard anyway.
The best way to answer would be specify the count of each keycap type.

Okay, so SP numbers their rows from the top down, as in 1-1-2-3-4-4. That is the typical arrangement on a keyboard. They make a tall Row 5 profile, but it is rarely used.

So, for a full 104 set, what you will receive is the following:

Row 1: 36pc 1x1, 1pc 1x2
Row 2: 18pc 1x1, 2pc 1x1.5, 1pc 1x2 vertical
Row 3: 11pc 1x1, 2pc 1x1 with homing bar, 1pc 1x1 with homing bump, 1pc 1x2 vertical, 1pc 1x1.75, 1pc 1x2.25
Row 4: 18pc 1x1, 1pc 1x2.25, 1pc 1x2.75, 7pc 1x1.25, 1pc 1x2, 1pc 1x6.25

Thanks jdcarpe.
Too many Row4 1x1.25 keys and not enough Row4 1x1 keys for me.

On a side note I actually have this set so if you have any other questions let me know :)

Thinking about doing something to try to make them more glass-like

Thanks. I only wanted to know what kind of keycaps are in it for now.
I'm not specifically looking for translucent keycaps or not even DCS keycaps.
Almost any cheap keycaps would do.
If the keycaps are DCS then they should be without labels.
I can use DSA too. These can be with or without labels.
It looks like there is no common set which would have 1x1 keys like this (assuming row0 is the top row):
  • 30 row0
  • 14 row1
  • 14 row2
  • 22 row3
The problem is with the bottom two rows. I need much more of them than it is common.

There was a time when Signature Plastics was selling overstock keycaps for a discount if one took more than 100. I could take about 240 DSA keycaps without legends too. But I cannot find this option on their web any more.
