What's up GeekHack
« on: Mon, 18 April 2016, 12:44:13 »
I've been semi active on r/Mk and a lurker around here for a long time. Ive had a Razer black widow for about 4 years but with an ergodox arriving today I feel that I've hit the point of full blown mech addict.

Leave when you still have some bit of self control left.

It's too late for that. I've got a set of zealios arriving today for the Planck kit on the last massdrop and the Hana keyset is on order for the planck as well. I'm one of you now.

Muahahahaha! :))

Are you going to use the Ergodox with a separate numpad? I don't see that combination too often. Welcome :)

Welcome to Geekhack!

How has the Razer lasted?  Many find that they more or less disintegrate before the first year.  I'm guessing you're one of the lucky ones who managed to get a well made one!

Other than that you're certainly jumping in with both feet.  Welcome to Wallethack ;)

I definitely got lucky with mine. The only problem I've had out of it is that the pass through audio and USB cut out but that was my own neglect and nothing I can pin on the build quality of the board. I definitely haven't been gentle on it either. But my ergodox came in yesterday and within an hour I had already packed away the Razer into a nice storage container and embraced the goodness.

There's an Ergo Dox fan club here - look for someone called tp4tissue, but don't say I didn't warn you :p
